Set up and manage a playlist

The playlist management feature allows you to create your own learning playlist and add in a list of learning content you wish to study. You can also use this feature to share the playlist with others in your organisation to view in platform or you can export it out of the platform to share externally. Lastly, you can edit, create an AI-assisted playlist, or delete any playlist you have previously made on the learning platform.

Create an AI-assisted Go1 Learn playlist

Create an AI-assisted playlist

Go1 AI is designed to support and simplify your content discovery and curation journey. With AI Playlists, you can quickly generate a playlist to meet your learner's unique objectives.

  1. Navigate to Content on the left-hand side menu.
  2. Click on + Create Playlist and select With AI.
  3. Enter your learning goal and click Next.
  4. Provide more information about your desired skills and content preferences (duration and type).
  5. Click Generate Playlist.
  6. Go1 AI will generate a Title and Description, which you can refine with AI or edit manually.
  7. You can further refine the Playlist with AI by clicking on Adjust List, where you can update your desired skills and content preferences.
  8. You can also add content without AI assistance by clicking on Add items and searching through your content.
  9. Expand the ellipses menu (...) to remove, or re-order items in the playlist.
  10. Once complete, click Add to Content.

Curate content using playlists

Curating a personalised and effective learning experience is key to engaging learners. With Go1 Learn, you can curate content tailored to your learners' needs using Playlists. This guide will walk you through the process of creating, populating, and refining playlists to enhance your learning offerings.

Create a new playlist
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. You can start building your playlist by clicking on + Create Playlist, either with AI or by yourself.
  6. If you create a playlist by yourself, you​ will be prompted to give your playlist a title and description. If you create a playlist with AI, your title and description will be automatically generated.
  7. You also have the option to upload an image that best represents the theme or content of your playlist.
Adding content to your playlist
  1. Once your playlist is set up, you can begin adding content
  2. Click on Edit.
  3. Click on + Add item. This allows you to search through the content and find suitable items to include.
  4. Click in the search bar and search for your topic.
  5. Previewing content: Before adding items to your playlist, you can preview them by clicking on the item. This opens a rich content preview, giving you a better understanding of how it fits into your playlist.
  6. Click on the + sign to add to the playlist.

Manually create a Go1 Learn playlist

Create a manual playlist
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. Click the + Create Playlist button.
  6. Choose the By Myself option.
  7. Complete the following fields:
    • Logo.
    • Title
    • Description.
  8. Click the Create button.

Playlist management

Share a playlist
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. Click the playlist you want to share.
  6. Click on Edit.
  7. Click the Three Dots (More Actions) button.
  8. Click the Share button. click on share.png
  9. To share with specific users, select the user from the drop-down menu.
  10. From the drop-down menu, select from the following:
    • Can view
    • Can edit
    • Transfer ownership
    • Remove.
  11. Once selected, click the Cancel button. 
Edit a playlist
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. Click the Three Dots (More Actions) button.
  6. Click the Edit button.
  7. Make the required changes and click the Save button.
Duplicate a playlist
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. Click the Three Dots (More Actions) button.
  6. Click the Duplicate button.

View playlists that have been shared with you
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. All playlists that you have created, and those that have been shared with you will appear in the list. 

Remove and retire playlists

View retiring content
  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Retirements tab.
  4. Here you will see a list of the retiring content.
  5. Hover over the Retirements tag to view alternative courses.
  6. Retired content will be displayed under the Removed (60 days after retirement) section.
  7. Click on Alternatives to view a suggested list of similar content. For retiring content, Alternatives are located in the ellipses menu.
  8. Click ‌the X to delete the retired content from your playlist. 
Delete a playlist

Admins can manage retiring or retired content and make changes in playlists within Go1 Learn. As part of our commitment to providing relevant, high-quality content, we regularly update our Content. This process includes retiring content. This feature allows you to view retirements and manage changes within Playlists to ensure a relevant and effective learning environment.

  1. Log into Go1 from Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Content on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click on the Created By Us tab.
  4. Click on the Playlists tab.
  5. Click on the playlist, and click on the Three Dots (More Actions).
  6. Click on Edit. 
  7. Click on the Three Dots.
  8. Click on Delete Playlist.

Further information

How does AI discover and curate ‌Go1 content?
Go1 AI will process the learning goal you have specified, use large language models to interpret the request and determine what skills are associated with that learning goal. It will then take note of the ‌preferences you have selected and search our courses for relevant content.
Is AI using any PII data or personal information behind the scenes?
No, Go1 AI will only utilise data in the request, which you have articulated. Refer to the Go1 AI Fairness & Transparency Overview for additional information.
Can I export my playlist as a SCORM package?
No, currently we do not allow Export via SCORM format.
We do not use the Go1 Learn interface but rather our own LMS/HR software. Can we use this export functionality?
No, if you are looking to export a playlist, it may be that it can only be achieved by syncing through the integration itself. To understand more, please reach out to your Senior Integration Manager and or Content Administrator.
Can I share my playlist with someone outside my organisation?
No, this sharing capability is limited to users within your organisation.
Can a playlist recipient view but not edit the playlist?
Select the Can view access.
Can a playlist have two owners?
No, playlists can only have one owner at any given time.
Will I be notified of content that is scheduled to retire in the future?
Yes, content marked for future retirement will display a Retiring tag, allowing you to update your playlists in advance.
How is this different from the Retirements feature in my content?
Both features work similarly, but they apply to different areas. This functionality focuses on managing retirements in your playlists.
If someone shares a playlist with me that contains retired or retiring content, will these features be available?
Yes, shared Playlists will also flag any retired or retiring content in the same way.
