Leave rates to be calculated by daily and weekly rates, aligning more closely with the New Zealand Holidays Act. This update simplifies the process, especially for employees with irregular hours, ensuring consistent and easily understandable leave calculations.
Getting started
Change leave rate unit type
- Select Payroll Settings.
- Under the Pay Run Settings menu item, select Leave Categories.
- Select the leave type that you would like to change the calculation rate.
- In the Unit Type drop-down menu, select Weeks, Days or Hours based on the rate you would like the leave to accrue.
- Select Save to confirm the change.
