Employment Hero’s integration with Go1 connects each employee’s Go1 learning profile to their Employment Hero account.
As of October 2025, the integration now uses the employee’s Company Email (if available) as the primary identifier. This ensures that learning access is tied to the correct company profile and prevents the creation of duplicate accounts.
How the Integration Works
- Email mapping logic.
- If a Company Email exists in Employment Hero, it will be used for the Go1 account.
- If no Company Email exists, the integration will fall back to the Account Email.
- Automatic profile updates.
- When an employee’s email address is updated in Employment Hero, their Go1 profile will automatically update to match.
- This will update the existing Go1 profile record ensuring a single continuous learning record.
- Notifications from Go1.
- If your Go1 portal has notifications turned on, your employees may receive an automated Go1 system email informing them that their email address has changed.
- These notifications are sent by Go1, not by Employment Hero.
Need to Remap a Go1 Account?
Remapping should no longer be necessary under the new integration model, as profiles update automatically. However, if you believe a user has an old or incorrect mapping (e.g. historical duplicate from before this change), please contact Employment Hero Support with the employee’s details. See this article to get in touch with Employment Hero support.
After remapping is completed, you will need to block the old account as per these guides:
Remapping is completed on an ad hoc basis. Any bulk remaps can be completed, but extensive wait times will need to be expected.
