AI people insights highlights what matters most to help you build a more supported, productive team. In this initial release, your people managers will begin seeing insights related to employee leave patterns. These insights will surface early signals where extra support may be needed, such as repeated short-notice absences or signs of disengagement.
AI people insights will appear directly within the Employee File. This makes it easier for HR admins and people managers to spot leave trends that may have otherwise gone unnoticed.
This is just the beginning. Over time, AI people insights will expand to cover a broader range of topics, helping managers take early and informed action to support their teams more effectively.
How can I access the AI People Insights feature?
- Log in to Employment Hero.
- On the left-hand side navigation, click on People.
- Click on Employees List.
- Click on the employee whose insights you would like to see.
- In the top right-hand side tile in the employee file, click on AI People Insights.
- Click on the eye icon to remove the blur.
- Click on View All.
- Once you have read the insights, click on See more for further information.
- Here you can read the detailed AI People Insight, and Employment Hero will suggest some follow up actions.
- Log in to Employment Hero.
- On the left-hand side navigation, click on People.
- Click on Employees List.
- At the top of the list of employees, you will see a You have new insights for xx employees banner.
- Click on the View all button on the banner.
- Once you have read the insights, click on See more for further information.
- Here you can read the detailed AI People Insight, and Employment Hero will suggest some follow up actions.
Frequently-asked questions
Only employees who already have access to relevant data will see these insights. For example, a manager who can view an employee’s leave records may see insights related to their leave patterns.
No new information is being shared, rather information that a manager or admin already has access to is being summarised and presented in a clearer, more actionable format.
AI People Insights spots patterns you might miss, like sudden spikes in leave or dips in engagement, and delivers clear explanations and ideas to consider. However, if you do not wish to see these insights in your organisation, you can disable them by navigating to Settings AI People Insights and disabling the feature.
By disabling this feature, your people managers will lose these proactive and actionable alerts and miss out on upcoming enhancements.
