Create a course in Go1 Learn

Available for the following learning plans: Standard, Plus
Available for the following user access levels: Admin

Build custom courses by blending your own content with Go1's library. The course editor allows you to create custom courses for your organisation. You can upload your own content and combine content from Go1's library to build engaging learning experiences.

How to create a course in Go1 Learn

  1. Log in to Employment Hero.
  2. On the left-hand side navigation menu, click on Development. 
  3. Click on My Learning. 
  4. Click on Explore and Enrol. 
  5. This will redirect you to Go1. On the Go1 home page, click on Content. 
  6. Click on Created by us. 
  7. Click on + Create. 
  8. Click on Course. Now you can start creating your new Go1 course. 
  9. Add the following details:
    • Course name
    • Course description
    • Course card image.
  10. Click on Next: Add Content. 
  11. In 2. Add content, select from the following to upload to your modules:
    • Upload content
    • Search content
    • Add URL
    • Add item

Important

If you choose upload content, then you can upload documents, videos, audio or interactive files. Audio/video/interactive up to 5GB, documents up to 40GB.

Uploadable file types: .doc, .docx, .dotx, .pdf, .pot, .potm, .potx, .pps, .ppsm, .ppt, pptm, pptx, .rtf, .xls, .xlsx, mp3, .oo, .wav, .mp4, .zip

  1. If you want to add another module to your course, click on Add Module. 
  2. Once you are satisfied with your modules, click on 3. Learning overview to expand the section. 
  3. Add the following details:
    • Learning outcomes
    • Level
    • Duration
  4. Once you have completed your learning overview, click on 4. Language and region to expand the section.
  5. Add the following details:
    • Langauge
    • Langauge variant
    • Regional accent 
    • Region relevance. 
  6. Once you have completed your language and region information, click on 5. Supported features to expand the section.
  7. Add the following details:
    • WCAG level
    • Mobile-friendly
    • Accessible.
  8. Once you have completed your supported features information, click on 6. Additional details to expand the section.
  9. Add the following details:
    • Topic 1: Select a top-level topic for your content
    • Tags
    • External ID.
  10. If you want to preview your course from a learner's perspective prior to publishing, click on Preview. 
  11. Click on Publish. Your Go1 Learn course has now been published.
