Manage add-ons and connect tools to Employment Hero

The Add-ons page is where you connect your Employment Hero organisation with third-party services. Connecting an add-on helps your organisation reduce manual work, keep data consistent, and streamline daily operations across the tools your team uses. You can find the Add-ons page under Settings > Security & Access Control > Add-ons.

  1. Log in to Employment Hero.
  2. Click Settings on the left-hand side navigation menu.
  3. Under the Security & Access Control tile, click Add-ons.
  4. The Add-ons page opens and displays the integrations available to your organisation.

Payroll integrations

Employment Hero supports payroll integrations with the following systems. The payroll systems available to you depend on the country or region of your organisation. Only one payroll application can be connected at any one time.

Helpful Hint

The add-ons available to your organisation can vary depending on your country, region, and subscription tier. If you do not see a specific add-on listed, it may not be available for the account.

Xero

Connect Employment Hero to your Xero account to keep key employee and payroll information in sync. Employment Hero is your source of truth for the fields that update automatically, making it easier to manage your data. This is a one-way sync, so make sure to manage changes in Employment Hero. You can get started with the credentials of any Full Access User in Xero.

QuickBooks Online

Connect QuickBooks Online to sync key employee and payroll information from Employment Hero. Once connected, Employment Hero becomes your source of truth for the data that syncs, and updates made in Employment Hero will automatically flow to QuickBooks. This is a one-way sync, so make sure to manage changes in Employment Hero.

MYOB AccountRight Live

Connect Employment Hero to your MYOB AccountRight Live account to keep key employee and payroll information in sync. Employment Hero is your source of truth for the fields that update automatically, helping you manage your data efficiently. This is a one-way sync, so make sure to manage changes in Employment Hero. You will need the credentials of an MYOB AccountRight Admin user to get started.

Employment Hero Payroll

When you first connect Payroll to Employment Hero, you can choose to import your existing Payroll data. After that, Employment Hero becomes your source of truth. To keep data in sync, all updates must be made in Employment Hero and will automatically sync to Payroll.

Learning management integrations

Learning management add-ons let your organisation deliver training and development content to employees.

Employment Hero Learning

Select this option if you do not already have a Go1 account. Employment Hero Learning allows you to create, assign, track, and report on all learning requirements for your organisation. Enabling this integration automatically creates a new Go1 account and syncs the data of your employees.

Go1

Select this option if you already have a Go1 account. The Go1 integration connects your existing Go1 account with Employment Hero, allowing employees to track their learning progress directly within the platform. All existing Go1 data remains intact and is synced with Employment Hero. Administrator access is required on both platforms to enable the integration.

Recruitment integrations

JobAdder

JobAdder is a global recruitment platform for staffing agencies and in-house recruiters. The native integration with Employment Hero lets you connect accounts in minutes. Sign in on the JobAdder website to authorise data access and automatically sync candidate information into new employee files for a seamless onboarding experience.

Account provisioning integrations

Account provisioning add-ons help your organisation manage user accounts across your wider technology stack.

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is the suite of business tools from Microsoft, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive. Employment Hero lets you create user accounts for employees, manage access, and deactivate accounts when employees leave. You must have a Microsoft 365 Business Plan or above to use this feature.

Google Workspace

Google Workspace is the suite of business tools from Google, such as Gmail, Calendar, and Drive. Employment Hero lets you create user accounts for employees, manage access, relink emails for returning employees, and deactivate accounts when employees leave. You must use a Google Workspace Admin account to complete the connection.

Connect your Square account to automatically sync sales data and map your Point of Sale sites to work locations. Keep your workforce data aligned with your operations.
