Roster vs timesheet comparison reporting via Payroll Classic

The Roster vs Timesheet Comparison Reporting feature allows you to compare timesheet submissions against the rostered hours of the employees within your organisation. You can see details such as the start and end time, the cost, location, breaks taken, and submission status. You can also use this feature to download an excel file of this data or save the information in a printable PDF format.

Getting started

Running a roster vs-timesheet comparison report
  1. Log into your Payroll Classic platform.
  2. Click the  Reports menu.
  3. Click the Roster vs Timesheet Comparison Report button.

  4. Select from the following fields:
    • Date range.
    • Pay schedule.
    • Roster location.
    • Roster status.
    • Timesheet location.
    • Timesheet status.
    • Work type.
    • Group by.
    • Employee.
    • Employment type.
    • Include costs.
  5. Click the Run Report button.

    You will now see your Roster vs Timesheet Comparison report on your screen.

Download data

Download the report: Excel
  1. Log into your Payroll Classic platform.
  2. Click the  Reports menu.
  3. Click the Roster vs Timesheet Comparison Report button.

  4. Select from the following fields:
    • Date range.
    • Pay schedule.
    • Roster location.
    • Roster status.
    • Timesheet location.
    • Timesheet status.
    • Work type.
    • Group by.
    • Employee.

  5. Click the Run Report button.
  6. Click the Download button.
  7. Click the Excel button.
