Request leave on the payroll classic platform

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus
Available for the following Payroll plans: Standard, Premium

Whether it means taking a holiday, attending an appointment, or simply taking time to recover from sickness or other problems, processing leave requests is crucial to the schedules of employees and managers alike.

This article explains how to use the payroll classic platform's 'Request Leave' feature. This lets you view, edit, and delete your leave requests and observe both your leave balance and leave status accordingly.

Important

If you are unable to submit your leave request through the payroll classic platform, consult your payroll administrator. The issue may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Your payroll admin needs to enable employee portal access for you.
  • Your organisation does not manage leave in the Employment Hero payroll classic platform, and instead does so in the HR classic platform.
    • If the above situation applies, you can learn more about requesting leave in the HR classic platform by reading this article.
