If you have followed the steps above and the course still will not load, or displays as a blank screen, please follow the steps below:
- Click the button located to the left of the URL in the URL field.
- Click the Site Settings button.
- Set the JavaScript, Images, and Popups and Redirects fields to the Allow option.
- You will arrive back at the page of the loading/blank course.
- Click the Reload button.
- You may now resume your course.
You may also try opening the course in another browser, such as Microsoft Edge. Once you have followed all the steps shown and it still shows up blank, kindly refer to your administrator and IT team for further assistance. You may need help whitelisting our learning domains.
- Log into Employment Hero.
- On the left-hand side menu, click on Development.
- Click on My Learning.
- Click on Explore and Enrol.
- Go1 will open in another tab.
- Click on Try Go1 Learn.
- Click on Learning.
- Click on the medal icon to download your certificate of completion.
Learners can remove items from their accounts if you no longer wish to do them or have added them in error. To do this for courses and awards, the learner can go to your Profile page by clicking on their name in the top right and selecting the Profile option.
From here, they can find what they wish to remove, click the three dots button, and then click the Remove or Leave Course button. For standalone items, and interactive files that have been assigned, learners can remove the items from their dashboard or My Learning page. If the interactive file is in progress, the learner will need to ask their administrator to delete their enrolment from it instead.
For managers/admins
You can use the Active User feature in the User Management module to unblock a user and let them log in to your organisation's learning platform.
- Log into Employment Hero.
- On the left-hand side menu, click on Development.
- Click on My Learning.
- Click on Explore and Enrol.
- Go1 will open in another tab.
- Click your initials on the top right-hand side.
- Click the Administer button.
- Click the User tab.
- Hover over the user that needs to be unblocked.
- Click the button.
- Select the Edit button.
- Click the Active button.
- Click the Save button.
When you add a user into the HR platform and you are connected to the Learning platform, Go1 will create an account for that individual with their HR account email. If the employee's account email is their personal email address, this will flow through to Go1, however, if you changed their email address in HR this change will not reflect in Go1. You can absolutely change a users email address in Go1, though kindly note:
- You can only change the email address of a user if it is associated with your company domain.
- If you require an email address change that is not associated with your company domain, the employee needs to update their own email address.
- Having different account emails in the HR and Go1 platforms may impact the employee's ability to click through from HR platform and access the Go1 platform
If you need to merge or transfer data between two user profiles in GO1, such as combining a personal email profile with a work email profile, here is a step-by-step guide to help you manage the process smoothly. Unfortunately, GO1 does not support direct merging of profiles, but you can transfer course completion histories from one profile to another.
Step 1: Export historical course enrolment records
First, you need to export the historical course enrolment records from the profile you wish to merge (in this case, the personal email profile). This will allow you to save all the completed courses and their details from the original account. Step 2: Import historical enrolment records
After exporting the course enrolments, the next step is to import these records into the primary profile (the work email profile). This will combine the learning histories into a single account. GO1 also offers a guide complete with a video tutorial to help in this process, How to Import Historical Enrollment Records When preparing the CSV file for import, ensure that it uses the work email address correctly to link the records to the desired profile.
Tips for a Smooth Transition
Double-check the CSV files to ensure that all data matches the correct user profiles before importing. Review the completion statuses in the CSV file to maintain accurate records in the work email profile.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage the transition of course records from one profile to another, ensuring a seamless integration of learning histories.
From the My Team Overview tab you can access the profile page for your team members, which has an Assign Learning Course feature.
- Click the My Team menu.
- Click the Overview tab.
- Click the team member who needs learnings assigned.
- Click the Assign button.
- Select the learning resource and click the Continue button.
- Enter the due date and click the Assign button.
You may sometimes want to remove items that a learner was wrongly assigned or should not have started. For assigned items, if it is a course or award, go to the learner's Profile, find the item that you wish to remove, click the Three Dots button, and then click the Remove button.
For standalone documents or interactive SCORM files, learners will need to remove these from their dashboard or My Learning page. Or, you may also remove the status from Administer Enrolments tab. For in-progress items, you will need to delete the learner's enrolment from the item via the Reports tab in the learning item. Which you can access by going to the Settings page for the interactive file.
If the item was started from enrolment, this will delete it completely. However, if the item was originally started from Assigned status, it will go back to Assigned status and will then need to be removed as above. If an item is assigned to a learner through a group, you will need to remove the user from the group or alternatively remove the learning item from the group.

From the Explore page you can select a course, which will then show an Assign Learning Course feature that you can use to assign it to a user or a group.
- Click the Explore menu.
- Select the desired learning course.
- Click the Assign button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Learners.
- Groups.
- Due date.
- Click the Assign button.
The Settings section of your course enables you to apply additional logic to your course access and enrolments. You can access this page via the Course Overview page. The below explains some of the General Settings and Enrolment settings you can configure.
General Settings
- You have the option to disable course discussions. Course discussions are a basic forum within the course, enabling learners to converse about the learning materials.
- Specify course authors, i.e. the users attributed as the creators of this training material.
- Specify course assessors, i.e. users who are responsible for marking any assessable components of your course.
Enrolment
- It is possible to customise your course into an enquiry-only course, meaning that users cannot self-enrol in the course, and enquiries are sent to the email contact of your choosing.
- If your course makes use of learning items that you have created separately, or that you have selected from the Go1 Content Hub, you can specify whether any existing enrolments against those learning items should be considered in relation to your learners' enrolments in your course. Find out more about reusing learning materials.
- You can disable re-enrolment, meaning learners can only complete the course once. But can still revisit the training materials following completion of their enrolment.
- The Course Creation feature allows you to create a learning course that can include a range of different learning items. For example, it can include an event, module, documents, quizzes, learning files, and more. You can also use this feature to unpubish a course if you no longer want it live; this feature replaces the ability to delete a course. Lastly, you can book into an event, assign the course to your users, add it to your playlist, or share it on social media.
- Open the course that needs the settings page configured
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the on the Settings option you want to configure.
- Make the required changes and click the Save button.
Sometimes you may have a learner who is saying they have finished a course but it is still not showing as completed. This is likely because the learner has not marked one or learning items within the course as complete.
When a learner says their course is not completing, ask them to please go back into the course and check the completion state of all sections. Make sure they mark those sections showing the status In Progress as Complete.
This must be done for all learning items within the course, including items such as documents and text resources. If the course was created by you or a member of your organisation, you can also manually update the enrolments within the course to change the status on your learner's behalf.
From the Course Overview page you can access the Course Learner Management page. On that page, you can select the learners who need a course reassigned, enter the new date, and then save the change. The page will then update to reflect the new due date you have specified for those learners, and we will inform your learners of this new date via email.
- Search for the course or resource via the search bar in the top navigation.
- Click on ther required course from the list of results.
- Once you have the Course Overview page open, click the Manage button.
- Select the users that need a course reassigned.
- Click the Reassign button.
- Complete the required fields and click the Reassign button.
