Checking your leave balance or logging unavailability helps you stay informed about your schedule, making it easier to plan your work schedule or upcoming holidays.
Using the 'Get latest leave balance' feature lets employees quickly view their latest leave balance on the Employment Hero platform. Contractors can view and manage their out-of-office schedules instantly through the dedicated Unavailability portal.

Note: Contractors do not accrue leave balances or require manager leave approval. Instead, periods of unavailability are recorded instantly.
- Log in to the Employment Hero platform.
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Unavailability submenu.
- Review your recorded logs list. This dashboard displays all of your confirmed unavailability periods, including dates, times, and optional notes, with no balance tracking or 'Get latest leave balance' refresh required.

- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Leave submenu.
- Now you are on the My Leave Requests page, refer to the LEAVE BALANCE section.
- Click Get latest leave balance to refresh the LEAVE BALANCE details and ensure you have received the most recent information.
- Alternatively, click Create Leave Request.
- Now you are on the Request Leave page, refer to the Leave Balance section.
- Click Get latest leave balance to refresh the LEAVE BALANCE details and ensure you have received the most recent information.
