Understanding sick and hospitalisation leave entitlements is crucial for both employees and employers. These entitlements are governed by specific regulations that ensure employees receive the necessary time off to recover from illnesses or medical conditions without compromising their job security. The following goes through the steps to request your sick and hospitalisation leave via the New HR platform.
Important
Sick and hospitalisation leave entitlements are pro-rated starting from 3 months of employment and reaching full entitlement after 6 months. When Sick leave is taken, the amount taken is deducted from the Hospitalisation leave balance. But not the other way around.Getting started
