Customise rounding rules for leave accrual

The Rounding Rules feature allows organisations to customise how leave accruals are rounded, offering flexibility to match various leave policies and practices. These settings, available under Leave & Time Settings in Payroll, apply each time leave is accrued, ensuring your organisation’s rounding needs are met accurately and efficiently.

Customise rounding rules
  1. Click the Settings menu.
  2. Click Leave and Time Settings.
  3. Under Rounding rules, choose the option that suits your organisation's policy. You can choose from:
    • No rounding.
    • Round to 1 day (simple).
    • Round to 0.5 day (simple).
    • Round to 1 day (complex).
    • Round to 0.5 day (complex).

Customise rounding rules
  • No rounding: No rounding rules are applied to leave taken.
  • Round to 1 day (simple): Leave is rounded to the nearest day.
  • Round to 0.5 day (simple): Leave is rounded to the nearest half day.
  • Round to 1 day (complex): Leave is rounded up to the nearest day.
  • Round to 0.5 day (complex): Leave is rounded up to the nearest half day.
