EH Jobs App - Screen Jobseeker Low Quality in Background

  • Release Date: 13 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: EH Jobs app users.
  • Objective: Introduce a two-phase quality assessment system for jobseekers to improve application quality and streamline the screening process for businesses.
  • Details:
    • The current moderation system focuses on disingenuous applicants but lacks a mechanism to evaluate job-specific quality. This update introduces:
      • A pre-computation phase-generating LLM-based scoring matrices tailored to job titles based on jobseeker profiles and previous submissions.
      • Enhanced profile evaluation including video transcripts, short summaries, shift availability, experience, skills, and licences.
      • Quality scoring at both the component level (0-5 with explanations) and an overall level (0-5).
    • This foundational scoring capability maintains the existing user interface while preparing for future enhancements.

Swag Timesheet Award Costing

  • Release Date: 13 Jan 2025 (Open Beta)
  • Target Users: Next Gen/KP connected organisations.
  • Objective: Enable the calculation and display of timesheet costs directly within the Timesheet Management system to improve cost visibility and decision-making.
  • Details:
    • Managers can now view timesheet costs directly on the timesheet details screen, breaking down costs by components.
    • To access these features, CSS permissions must be granted for "Rostering Shift & Timesheet Costs."
    • The update simplifies cost analysis and supports better resource management.

       

Hero Time Clock - Award Costing Inputs

  • Release Date: 13 Jan 2025 (Open Beta)
  • Target Users: Global Platinum and Next Gen organisations.
  • Objective: Automate the process of inputting work types and shift conditions in the Hero Time Clock (HTC), reducing manual effort and enhancing accuracy.
  • Details:
    • Employees with rostered shifts will find their work type and shift condition inputs auto-populated upon clock-out.
    • These inputs can be reviewed and updated directly on the HTC clock-out screen, irrespective of rostered shifts.
    • Confirmed inputs are synced to the HR Timesheet Management page and subsequently to Payroll.
    • Future updates will expand these features to cover all timesheet types.

       

Open-Ended Leave for AIOP Payroll-Connected Users

  • Release Date: 15 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: Payroll-connected customers using the All-In-One Platform (AIOP).
  • Objective: Introduce the ability to create open-ended leave requests for payroll-connected customers, improving flexibility and syncing with payroll systems.
  • Details:
    • A new open-ended leave type can now be created and approved.
    • When included in a pay run, leave requests are automatically paid out up to the last day of the pay period.
    • Once an end date is added and approved, the request syncs to payroll, ensuring accurate leave processing.
    • This feature was previously available for non-payroll-connected users and has now been extended to payroll-connected customers.

Earned Wage Access - Choose Your Own Pay Cycle!

  • Release Date: 13 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: AU users paid fortnightly in arrears.
  • Objective: Provide users greater flexibility in receiving wages by allowing them to select their preferred pay cycle.
  • Details:
    • Users can now automatically receive wages on their chosen day of the week.
    • Features include:
      • Setting a specific day for automatic payments.
      • Choosing an amount range for wage payments, which will be processed if their balance meets the selected criteria.
      • Designed to support budgeting and reduce the need for users to log in to request payments manually.
    • Upcoming enhancements:
      • Predicted balances for full-time users to better manage wage planning.
      • Expanded options for monthly-paid users to switch to weekly or fortnightly pay cycles.

         

Google Maps Integration for Address Validation

  • Release Date: 10 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: EH Work users.
  • Objective: Streamline the sign-up process for new fund members by integrating Google Maps for address validation.
  • Details:
    • The Address 1 text field now triggers automatic suburb validation and population.
    • This ensures accurate and validated input, reducing errors and delays during the sign-up process.
    • Members benefit from a faster and more reliable experience.

Decommission Legacy Custom Reports

  • Release Date: 15 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: All users with access to custom reporting.
  • Objective: Transition from the legacy custom reports tool to the new BYOR (Build Your Own Reports) wizard for a more modern and intuitive reporting experience.
  • Details:
    • The legacy custom reports tile on the Reports page now redirects users to the BYOR wizard.
    • Users can leverage the enhanced features and capabilities of BYOR to create and manage custom reports effectively.

Core HR

Prevent EH Users from Removing All 2FA Methods

  • Release Date: 21 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: Global EH users.
  • Objective: Enforce account security by ensuring users always maintain at least one active two-factor authentication (2FA) method.
  • Details:
    • Users are now required to maintain at least one active 2FA method (either Authenticator App or SMS).
    • It is no longer possible to disable the last active 2FA method.
    • Tooltips have been added to explain the requirement.
    • If multiple 2FA methods are active, users can still disable individual methods.
    • This update applies to desktop versions; a mobile implementation is planned for the next release.

AIOP Rostering

UX Improvements - Certifications

  • Release Date: 15 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: Global Platinum and Next Gen organisations.
  • Objective: Simplify shift assignment by displaying employee certification statuses directly in the rostering interface.
  • Details:
    • The updated employee list shows which employees are certified or not certified for shifts requiring specific qualifications.
    • This ensures smoother rostering and minimises the risk of assigning unqualified personnel.

Template Error Handling

  • Release Date: 16 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: Global Platinum and Next Gen organisations.
  • Objective: Enhance usability when loading templates in Rostering Management, particularly for handling conflicts.
  • Details:
    • Templates with conflicts such as shift clashes, unavailability, or leave now trigger a conflict modal with options to:
      • Create empty shifts for the conflicts.
      • Skip empty shifts and proceed with the template.
    • The improved error handling provides greater flexibility and control during template application.

Mobile Infrastructure

Swag App Rebrand to EH Work

  • Release Date: Rolling Out
  • Target Users: All users.
  • Objective: Rebrand the Swag app as Employment Hero Work, aligning it with the company's broader branding strategy.
  • Details:
    • Updated branding includes new animated and static splash screens, updated fonts, and the replacement of Swag logos with the EH Work logo.
    • Email communications have also been rebranded with updated links, logos, and sender domains.
    • App store and Google Play entries, including names, icons, and descriptions, have been refreshed.

Workplace Platform

Streamlining the Work Pillar to Support the Rebrand

  • Release Date: 13 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: All EH users interacting with Leave and Expense features.
  • Objective: Uplift the Leave feature to align with the rebranding of the Work platform for a cleaner, more intuitive design.
  • Details:
    • Expanded Leave Clashes feature from Slice 1, making it visible when viewing and approving requests.
    • Clearer toggle and filter for admins and managers to switch between "My Leave" and "Management" views.
    • Design updates to Leave Requests and Leave Balances for a modernised look.
    • These improvements aim to improve usability and consistency within the Work platform.

NZ Payroll

Stats NZ Quarterly Employment Survey Report

  • Release Date: 15 Jan 2025
  • Target Users: NZ payroll admins.
  • Objective: Streamline the generation of data points required for the Stats NZ Quarterly Employment Survey (QES).
  • Details:
    • The EH Stats NZ QES report simplifies the process by populating data into the Stats NZ QES template.
    • This eliminates the need for generating multiple reports or performing manual lookups, saving time and reducing errors.

UK Payroll

Multiple PAYE Scheme Payroll

  • Release Date: Beta Release
  • Target Users: UK payroll users eligible for Multi PAYE payroll.
  • Objective: Support businesses with multiple PAYE schemes under a single setup.
  • Details:
    • Previously, businesses with multiple PAYE schemes had to create separate accounts for each scheme.
    • The new feature allows for managing multiple PAYE schemes within a single business, simplifying payroll operations.
    • The feature is currently in beta and is available to select users.
