AU Payroll

Automation of Public Holiday Not Worked for Auto-Paid Employees - Phase 1 (GA)

Release Date: 26 March 2025

Target Users: Payroll Admins

Description: This feature automatically separates Public Holiday Not Worked earnings lines for auto-paid employees within a pay run and payslips.

Key Features:

  • Automatic public holiday pay for eligible auto-paid employees.
  • New setting in employee profiles to enable automation (not available for award-based employees).
  • New pay category: ‘Public Holiday Not Worked’ for reporting.
  • LWOP (leave without pay) handling ensures public holidays during unpaid leave periods are not paid incorrectly.

 

Contractor Management - Phase 1

Release Date: 31 March 2025

Target Users: Payroll Admins

Description: This feature enables payroll admins to add and pay contractors, with automated tax withholding, super contributions, and GST (goods and services tax) calculations.

Key Features:

  • New Contractor Wizard for easy contractor setup.
  • Tax Withholding support for applicable contractors.
  • Super Contributions settings extended to contractors.
  • New Pay Category: GST (auto-calculates GST for contractor payments).
  • Reporting tools for contractor payments and tax.

Target Users: AU Next Gen + Intelligent Payroll Guided Onboarding Cohort

Description: This feature prevents unintended payroll syncs during onboarding by locking key employee fields and restricting HR > Payroll updates.

Key Features:

  • Locks key employee fields to ensure accurate payroll comparisons.
  • Displays a warning banner and pop-up about restricted updates.
  • Temporarily restricts HR > Payroll syncs while in Parallel Pay Run Mode.

EOFY IR Submission Reconciliation Report

Release Date: 19 March 2025

Target Users: Payroll Admins

Description: This feature introduces a new reconciliation report to help payroll admins verify Inland Revenue submissions and payments for compliance.

Key Features:

  • New EOFY (end of financial year) reconciliation report for Inland Revenue submissions and payments.
  • Can be run by month with a breakdown of pay runs if required.

Leave Accrual Based on Employee Start Date

Release Date: 28 March 2025

Target Users: UK, SEA & CA (HR standalone, HR+Payroll)

Description: This feature allows leave accrual to align with an employee's actual start date, ensuring accurate pro-rata calculations.

Key Features:

  • Accruals are now based on individual employee start dates rather than a fixed date.
  • Supports compliance with different employment standards.
  • Pro-rata calculations applied for part-time/casual employees.



UK HR/PY

Sync UK Payroll Documents to EH HR Platform - P45

Release Date: 24 March 2025

Target Users: UK HR+PY connected orgs

Description: This feature enables terminated employees to access their P45 directly from the HR platform, improving document accessibility.

Key Features:

  • P45 documents now appear in employee files and My Documents.
  • Availability for admins and employees once P45 notification is sent in Payroll.
