When you move from another payroll provider to Employment Hero's payroll platform, you may have employees who have already paid their CPF and Taxes for the year. The Opening Balances CPF and Tax Opening Balances feature allows you to select an employee's file and enter their accrued YTD CPF and Tax amounts. You can also use this feature to clear the opening balances if you entered the wrong YTD figures into their employee file.
Getting started
Add opening CPF and Tax balances
- Click the Employee menu.
- Click the List submenu.
- Click on the employee who needs CPF and Tax amounts added.
- Click the Opening Balances button.
- Click the CPF and Tax tab.
- Enter the required CPF and Tax figures.
- Click the Save button.
Daily activities
Clear opening CPF and Tax balances
- Click the Employee menu.
- Click the List submenu.
- Click on the employee who needs CPF and Tax amounts cleared.
- Click the Opening Balances button.
- Click the CPF and Tax tab.
- Click the Clear button.
- Click the Save button.
