Within your organisation, you will have HR Guides that cover off on a wide area of HR best practises such as setting goals, parental leave, and record-keeping requirements. You would have created these documents in house by your HR specialists, so having a way to digitise this information will make it easier for users within your organisation to access this information.
You can use the HR Guides feature to preview a selected document, so you can read the contents on your screen. You can also use this feature to print out a copy of a guide if you need an offline version and filter what information you see on your screen.
Important
To upload a document into HR Guides, you must first create or update it as a Knowledge Base document. This is as only Knowledge Base documents will appear in the HR Guides section.
Once uploaded, these documents will automatically be visible in the HR Guides for admin users.
By default, only admin users can view HR Guides. However, you can grant employees access, by enabling the Knowledge Base security permission in Custom Security Settings.
