Explanation
When your Employment Hero platform is integrated with a payroll platform, Employment Hero is the source of truth for employee data such as leave requests. Leave requests will sync from Employment Hero to payroll on approval; they will never sync from payroll to Employment Hero.
This error typically occurs when a leave request with the same dates has been submitted on the payroll platform first. When the leave request is then submitted on Employment Hero, this error is triggered to ensure the leave request is not synced and duplicated on the payroll platform.
Solution
You will first need to check whether the leave request has been processed on the payroll platform.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Click Payroll integration issues.
- Select the Leave Requests tab.
- Select the Actions drop-down menu, then select Hide from Dashboard for the error.
This will ensure that you have a record of the leave request on Employment Hero and will stop the error from appearing on your dashboard.
- Delete the leave request on the payroll platform.
- Delete the leave request on Employment Hero.
- Re-submit the leave request on Employment Hero.
Once the leave request has been approved, it will sync to your payroll platform.
