Explanation

When your HR classic platform is integrated with a payroll classic platform, the HR platform is the source of truth for employee data such as timesheets. Timesheets will sync from HR to Payroll on approval; they will never sync from Payroll to the HR platform.

This error typically occurs when a timesheet with the same dates has been submitted on the payroll platform first. When the timesheet is then submitted on the HR platform, this error is triggered to ensure the timesheet is not synced and duplicated on the payroll platform.

Solution

You will first need to check whether the timesheet has been processed on the payroll classic platform.

If the timesheet has been processed on the payroll classic platform
  1. Clck the Settings icon.
  2. Click Payroll integration issues.
  3. Select the Timesheets tab.
  4. Select the Actions drop-down menu, then select Hide from Dashboard for the error.

This will ensure that you have a record of the timesheet on the HR classic platform and will stop the error from appearing on your dashboard.

If the timesheet has not been processed on the payroll classic platform
  1. Delete the timesheet on the payroll classic platform.
  2. Re-submit the timesheet on the HR classic platform.

Once the timesheet has been approved, it will sync to your payroll classic platform.
