How to Prepare
- Let your employees know Employment Hero is coming by sending them an email. Check out the resource in the Launch Kit to help you get started.
- Pop an announcement on the company feed to welcome everyone to the platform. An example of an announcement is in the resources in the Launch Kit
When you hit the Launch button, setup mode will switch off and any employees listed as pending will receive an email notification to activate their Employment Hero account.
Once they hit the link, each employee will be directed toward their mobile app store where they can download the Employment Hero Work app. Once they're in the app, they'll be taken through five mandatory steps to complete the setup of their account:
- Set up a password
- Read and confirm their personal details
- Confirm their tax details, including adding in a digital signature
- Confirm work eligibility
- Confirm superannuation
Once they’ve completed the five mandatory steps, they can start exploring their new HR platform.

Helpful Hint
Invitations to your employees expire within 72 hours so encourage them to act fast and setup their account. However, you can select Send Invitations to New Users to resend the invitations to any employee who didn't accept.
