Create your Company Values

Creating a set of company values is like creating a compass for your team that helps guide their decisions and actions towards a shared goal. These values should  be the driving force behind building strong business relationships, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and fostering company growth. By adding your company goals within the platform, you can ensure these values are understood and visible by all new and existing employees. 



Hero Tip: Did you know that 50% of employees say they would stay longer at a company that recognised their efforts? Setting up a recognition program might seem tricky, but it’s a breeze with Employment Hero. Simply enable Recognitions (in Recognition Settings) to let teammates award each other Hero Points for living out company values. Don’t worry—every recognition needs admin approval before hitting the Company Feed, where everyone can celebrate the wins!

 

How to Prepare

  • Create a list of your Company Values and a short description of what the company value means to your organisation.

Instructions

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on Company Values.
  3. Create a new value or choose to use a template.
  4. Upload a new icon or choose to use a pre-existing icon.
  5. Enter a summary of your company value
  6. Select Save.

 

Next Steps

By creating and adding your company values in Employment Hero, you have provided your employees with a clear direction on how to work towards a common goal. Your employees can now access these values and recognise each other's alignment to these values using the Company Feed. This encourages a positive work culture, helps you to increase loyalty, engagement and performance.
