Employment Hero has a built-in Asset Register that you can use to keep track of all the assets owned by your organisation, such as equipment, furniture, vehicles, and other valuable items.
How to Prepare
- Create a comprehensive list of all company assets and who is currently in possession of the asset, if applicable.
- Create a unique name or code for each asset.

Instructions
- Select Reports.
- Select Asset Register.
- To upload your assets in bulk, select the arrow next to the Asset Register heading.
- Then, select Import Assets.
Complete this CSV by outlining:
- An asset code (mandatory).
- An asset name (mandatory).
- Categories.
- Purchase Date.
- Purchase Amount.
- Currency.
- Additional Details if needed.
- When finalised, save and upload this CSV back into Employment Hero using the Upload section.
Next Steps
After you have added your assets to Employment Hero in bulk, you can assign them to your employees by selecting "Actions" and "Assign" in the asset register. You can then choose the employee or contractor, select the date of assignment, and decide if you want the employee to be notified via email. Just keep in mind that if you're in setup mode, the employee will not receive the email notification.
