Add working hours that accurately reflect casual positions

  • Description: Once 'casual/temporary' is selected for job type as part of the create a job flow AND the SmartMatch talent search flow, 'casual' can be selected for working hours. This will display as part of the job ad.

Expand functionality for offboarding module

  • Description:
    • Offboarding module is quite restrictive in functionality - only supports scheduling exit interviews.
    • Users would like to be able to setup certain task or notification to certain department/DRI to be notified.
    • User would also like to be able to customise different processes based on the termination type.

Passwordless login - introduce passkeys to our web platform

  • Objective: Improve login usability and security.
  • Impact:
    • Everyone has the option to set up and use passkeys on our web platform.
    • Up to 10 passkeys can be added in account settings.
    • Passkeys can be viewed and deleted in the passkey management modal.
    • Users with passkeys set up can use it to log in to EH without entering email + password, or 2FA.
    • Emails are sent out to users when passkeys are added or deleted for awareness.
    • Passkey reset integrated with existing 2FA account recovery process.

AI Imps - Inline Editing HR Only Slice 2

  • Objective: To enhance the efficiency of error correction during employee creation by allowing users to edit directly within the mapping interface, reducing the dependency on external uploads.
  • Description: urrently, users must rely on the "Upload and Replace" button to fix minor issues like typos or formatting errors in employee data. This process is time-consuming and disrupts the workflow. By introducing inline editing in HR AI Import, users can make corrections directly within the mapping interface without leaving the page. This streamlined approach ensures a smoother and more efficient error resolution experience. After each field edit, the system will validate the changes in real-time, providing immediate feedback to the user about whether the correction resolves the issue or if further adjustments are required.
  • Features: Inline Editing for employee creation in HR Only AU Managed Imps
    • Direct editing capabilities integrated into the mapping interface for employee creation.
    • Select multiple rows with checkboxes.
    • Bulk editing.
    • Smart Save - Saving drafts of edits.
    • Improved error validation.

Intelligent Payroll Enhancements

  • Objective: Give Intelligent Payroll customers the option to not add employees to payroll.
  • Description: Previously, it was a requirement of Intelligent Payroll to hide the “Sync with payroll” checkbox and make all employees added to payroll by default. However, upon the rollout of Intelligent Payroll MVP, some large Intelligent Payroll orgs need the ability to NOT add some employees to payroll. As a result, we were requested to address this use case for these Intelligent Payroll customers. Our solution is to add a checkbox titled Do not add employee to payroll , with the default option as checkbox NOT ticked into Employee Onboarding, Quick Add [AU only due to non-AutoPay in other regions do not have Sync with PY checkbox in Quick Add], Employee profile where previously the “Sync with payroll” checkbox is located. This enhancement will also include CSV Employees Import/Export templates where the “Sync with payroll” column was previously located.

Surface some Payroll specific reports in the AIOP so the customer can self serve and not rely on EH Payroll Manager

  • Description: Adding to 'Reports' page in AIOP 'Pay' section to display most essential reports for customers to self serve and not rely on EH Payroll Manager downloading and sending them through. The customer can now find:
    • Detailed Activity Report.
    • Employee Payment History Report.
    • Leave Balances Report.
    • Leave Liability Report.
    • KiwiSaver Report.
    • Super Contributions Report.

 


 

Partnerships & Dashboards

Improvements to Bureau Dashboard

  • Description:
    • Improvements behind the scenes to the generation of the Activity feed, to speed up the production of the page.
    • Allowing the Bureau Dashboard reports to be run across multiple brands or businesses in one go.
    • Bureau Dash bulk actions - include option for increasing daily pay in bulk (already had hourly and salaried).

 


 

Pre-Payroll (Leave)

Extending leave forfeiture to global customers on AIOP

  • Objective:
    • Enabling the forfeiture feature for our global AIOP customers using Entitlement Based Leave.
    • Carry over will allow employees to take leave from the previous leave period onto the new leave period.
    • Forfeiture will add onto this and create an expiry date for the carry over leave, with options including:
      • No forfeiture (Carry over leave can be used indefinitely into the new leave period).
      • All carry over forfeited after 1-12 months after carry over (All carry over amounts will be removed from the employee after a set amount of months after they have been carried over).
      • Fixed amount (A set amount of carry over hours/days/weeks will be removed from the employee after a set amount of months after they have been carried over).

Ad-Hoc Balances Adjustment Slice 3

  • Objective:
    • Enabling customers to see previous ad-hoc balance adjustments made to an employee's leave balance.
    • Ability for customers to edit the amount and the expiry for the ad-hoc balance.
    • Ability for customers to delete the adjustment.

Workforce planning: Align Requisitions/Onboarding Approvals with Vacant Positions

  • Objective:
  • The vision for workforce planning is for Requisitions, Vacant Positions, Recruitment, Onboarding Approvals, and Employee Files to all be integrated together to minimise data re-entry and create a cohesive experience as a position is requested, approved, recruited for, and filled.
  • With this release, the UI and data fields included in the Requisition and Onboarding Approval module have been updated to allow for the next step of integration to occur. This update also addresses a number of  feature requests related to these modules.

Allow admins to grant employees access to 360 review Management module via CSS, supporting employee development processes

  • Objective:
    • To provide customers with greater flexibility in determining who can manage 360 Reviews.
    • Employees with CSS will have the ability to create and view 360 Review responses, enabling them to collaborate with other employees on their developmental areas.

Workforce planning: Introduce Employee Requisitions and Onboarding Approvals for NextGen with a default approval workflow

  • Objective: Open up Employee Requisitions and Onboarding Approvals for NextGen users so they can manage their workforce planning from Requisitions, Vacant Positions, Recruitment, Onboarding Approvals, to Employee Files.
  • Description: The default approval workflow doesn't require any approval configuration like the Classic experience. It will allow requisitions to be submitted via CSS and these requests will go to an Admin or Owner for approval. Onboarding requests will also go to an Admin or Owner for approval.

 


 

Talent Marketplace

Enhanced email update workflow to improve business response rates and conversation management

  • Objective: Create a scalable, efficient workflow for managing email address updates in SAP to ensure ongoing communication continuity, higher business response probabilities, and better tracking of email interaction history.
  • Description: When email addresses are manually updated in SAP, new workflows ensure:
    • Responded conversations continue with the old email address, maintaining context.
    • Un-responded applications are prioritised and re-sent to the updated email in time-sequenced intervals (5-15 minutes).
    • Backfilled conversations are queued and shifted to the new email address.
    • History of all email addresses for a business is displayed for better tracking and visibility.

Display EH Work app prompt within Applicant Profile and List page

  • Objective: o encourage app adoption, we need to prompt users at the right moments, based on specific employer engagement events that indicate they’ve found value in their hiring journey and are likely to continue using our platform. By identifying these key touch points, we can strategically introduce the app as a solution to streamline their experience and enhance their hiring process.
  • Description: We will display the app prompt to download the EH Work app only after a hirer meets the following criteria within the web experience:
    • Sent more than 2+ messages to Job Seekers via the web experience, OR
    • Received and opened Job Seeker profile pages of 2+ job seekers, OR
    • Shortlisted (i.e., moved to ‘In Progress’ status) 2+ Job Seekers via the web experience.

Payroll Tags - Award Costing Inputs

  • Objective: Implement Payroll Tags in HR via onboarding and employee files, ensuring direct sync to Payroll to minimise manual intervention and enable seamless application of rule conditions.
  • Description:
    • Payroll tags can be directly input into an employee's file during onboarding and will sync to the employee’s PY file if the "Synchronise with Payroll" checkbox is ticked.
    • Payroll tags can also be edited via the Pay Details panel, with edits immediately syncing to Payroll.
    • The full list of Payroll tags can be viewed under: Settings > Payroll Settings > Payroll Tags.
    • Payroll Tags is built upon the foundation established by the Award Costing Inputs Slice 1.

Weekly TS Form React Migration + Shift Condition & Classification Inputs - Award Costing Inputs Slice 3

  • Objective: Ensure Weekly Timesheet forms are consistent with My Timesheets across all organisations and enable seamless input of shift conditions and classifications for employees and admins, ensuring accurate payroll integration.
  • Description:
    • Migrated Weekly Timesheet (TS) forms to React, ensuring consistency with My Timesheets weekly timesheet form.
    • For Payroll (PY)-connected organisations, both weekly timesheet types (start and end times based on weekly entries and daily hours based on weekly entries) now support:
      • Employees: Shift conditions into weekly timesheet forms.
      • Admins: Both shift conditions and classifications into weekly timesheet forms.
    • Shift conditions and classifications are synced from Weekly Timesheet forms to Payroll, ensuring seamless integration and accurate data transfer.

Talent Marketplace: Repo Expansion (Slice 1) - Extraction & Enrichment for 4 New Australian Cities

  • Objective: Deliver extraction and enrichment for 4 new Australian cities: Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
  • Description:
    • The extraction and enrichment for Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide have been completed with significant improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The total cost for extracting the four cities was $4,671.23 AUD, compared to $51,812.12 AUD for the Sydney extraction process, resulting in a 91% cost savings.
    • A total of 98,750 businesses were extracted & enriched across the four cities.

Employee Profile Vision - Combining Documents

  • Objective: Enhance the Employee Profile for improved usability and visual appeal, boosting efficiency and engagement.
  • Description: The update that merges the ”HR Documents” and “Uploaded Documents” tabs into a single, unified area that was previously released as an open beta has now been made public.
