When you see the Hours per week: Hours or days per week must be greater than zero error in Employment Hero HR, follow the below steps to correct the issue:
Step 1: Access the Employee's Profile
To update the hours per week for an employee:
- Click on the People menu.
- Select Employee List from the submenu.
- Click on the name of the employee whose hours need adjustment.
Step 2: Update Work Hours
Inside the employee's profile:
- Navigate to the Pay details section.
- Click on Work Hours to view and edit the working hours details.
- Make sure you select This Employee is a Zero-Hour-Based employee tick-box. You may have to scroll down to the bottom of the edit pane that opens up to find this tickbox.
Step 3: Save Changes
After making the necessary adjustments:
- Ensure all information is correctly entered and reflects the true working hours.
- Click Save to update the employee's records.
