Highlight FBT Savings - Hero Points Purchase

Target Users: Australian Orgs admins

Summary: A one-liner text has been added to the Hero Points purchase page to highlight potential Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) savings for Australian employers. This aims to ensure employers are aware of the financial benefits of purchasing Hero Points, alongside the displayed service fee. Key Features:

  • The addition of the text: "Hero Points may qualify for a Fringe Benefits Tax exemption in Australia, potentially saving you up to 47% ($93.23) in FBT savings. Learn more". The savings amount is dynamic based on the total amount.
  • Clicking "Learn more" opens a pop-up modal explaining the service fee and provides links to FAQs and the FBT technical documentation.

Employment Hero Jobs app - UK Localisation

Release Date: 4 April 2025
Target Users: Job Seekers in the UK (Greater Manchester and Bristol)

Summary:
The EH Jobs app is now available for users in the UK, beginning with pilot cities Greater Manchester and Bristol. Users can now search, sign up for, and apply to local jobs directly through the app.

Key Features:

  • UK localisation of app content and messaging.

  • Location-aware experience using device IP detection.

  • Tailored job discovery for UK users.

 

Employment Hero Work app - Customer Effort Score Surveys Implementation

Release Date:  7 April 2025
Target Users: EH Work App Users

Summary:
Customer Effort Score (CES) surveys have been added to the EH Work app to help measure user effort across key in-app actions. This feedback will guide improvements to user experience.

Key Features:

  • CES surveys triggered after critical actions (e.g. timesheet submission, leave requests).

  • Informed by web CES implementation for smoother rollout.

  • Data gathered will inform UX optimisations and reduce user friction.

 

Employment Hero Jobs - UK Localisation

Summary:

The EH Jobs app is now available for users in the United Kingdom, initially in the pilot cities of Greater Manchester and Bristol. Users in these areas can now find, register for, and apply to local job opportunities directly through the application.

  • Application content and messaging localised for the UK market.
  • Location detection implemented using device IP addresses to provide a relevant experience.
  • Job recommendations tailored for users within the UK.

 

Reducing Mobile Snowflakes to Zero & Fixing Legacy UI | Employment Hero Work app

Release Dates:

  • Snowflakes for mobile, pre-payroll, WPC, talent management: 20 March 2025
  • Snowflakes for benefits/perks: 30 March 2025
  • All Legacy UI: 8 April 2025

Target Users: EH Work users

Summary: This release focused on improving the maintainability, consistency, and development speed of the EH Work mobile application by eliminating inconsistent UI implementations ("snowflakes") and outdated UI components. The initiative aimed to standardise all user interface patterns based on the Hero Design System.

Key Features:

  • Removal of 639 unique UI inconsistencies across Mobile, Pre-Payroll, WPC, Talent Management, and eBF.
  • Refactoring or replacement of 191 legacy UI components with components from the Hero Design System.
  • Contributions made to the Hero Design System to address identified issues and improvements.
  • Future plans include enhancing the automated detection of UI inconsistencies to prevent their reintroduction.

SCMP into QBO

Target Users: AU Payroll

Summary:

This update introduces conditional Intuit disclaimers for QBO payroll users within the Standard Clear Matching Process (SCMP). Additionally, a new report has been created for the QBO partnership to track total user sign-ups. This initiative aims to increase the number of users engaging with the SCMP on Payroll, thereby expanding the total addressable market.

  • Conditional display of Intuit disclaimers for QBO payroll users within the SCMP.
  • New report for the QBO partnership detailing total user sign-ups.

Talent Marketplace

Secure Hirer Dashboard Search, Candidate Profiles, and Find Interested Flow

Release Date: 9 April 2025 Target Users: AU and NZ (UK in May)

Summary: Phase 1 of the hirer-led experience is now available, enabling businesses to proactively discover and engage with candidates within the EH main app.

Key Features:

  • Search Page: Hirers can search for candidates, with the search pre-populated with parameters from their sign-up. The search displays up to 15 candidates, utilizing existing SmartMatch functionality.
  • Candidates: The talent pool consists of SmartMatch candidates.
  • Check Interest: Hirers can express interest in candidates from the search results, sending an invitation with a single click. Hirers receive expressions of interest in their inbox and can communicate directly via email.
