- Description: We've made enhancements to the Audit Trail, Headcount, Safety Incident, and Tenure Reports for a more consistent and streamlined experience. These updates standardize available data, columns, and CSV export options across reports, making it easier for you to access and utilize information. Key improvements include enhanced Safety Incident Report data, improved readability with frozen columns, and consistent naming conventions. All exported reports in the HR platform now follow a consistent naming format:

Employee Profile Completeness: Editing Banking Details
- Release Date: May 19, 2025

- Description: You can now view and edit your banking details directly within the app. Previously, app users could only view their banking details and had to log into the HR platform to make changes. Any updates made in the app will seamlessly sync with the HR platform, and vice versa. All updates will be logged in the audit trail and validated with existing bank account checks. Email notifications will be triggered to the user and relevant payroll admin.
Emergency Contacts in Staff Directory

- Description: Managers and Employees with Custom Security Settings assigned can now access Emergency Contacts in the Staff Directory within the EH Work app. This enhancement provides greater accessibility to important contact information.
Tenure Calculation Updates
- Release Date: May 19, 2025
- Available In: All regions
- Description: Tenure calculations have been upgraded to better reflect real employment history, especially for rehires. Admins now have the flexibility to choose a new Employment Start Date when reactivating an employee, which supports compliance. The tenure displayed on the Employee File Card will reflect the selected start date. New tooltips explain how tenure is calculated for both admins and employees.
"Teams" Feature Renamed to "Groups" (Desktop)
- Release Date: Closed Beta Testing (Fast Follows: Teams > Groups (Mobile) and Open Beta release)
- Available In: All regions (currently in closed beta for internal testing)
- Description: To avoid confusion with the upcoming "My Teams" feature (which refers to reporting line relationships), the existing "Teams" feature, which allows HR admins and managers to group employees for various functions, will be renamed "Groups." This is a cosmetic change and does not affect any functionality.

Employer and Employee Benefits Dashboard Migration

- Description: All active benefits have been successfully migrated from the old employee benefits module to the new benefits management area. Employers will now see active benefits within benefits management, with a new "source" column distinguishing migrated benefits from newly entered ones. Employees will see the benefits they are assigned to (i.e., active benefits with a future end date). We will also be migrating all expired benefits later this week.

Add Date of Birth to My Account Details on Payroll

- Description: To assist with account recovery for users without an employee file (and thus limited personal details), we have introduced a Date of Birth field on the My Account Details page. This field is currently optional but will be made mandatory for non-employees on affected brands next week.
Aligning MFA methods across platforms by removing email as a 2FA method on Payroll
- Release Date: Email as 2FA method removal: June 6, 2025
- Available In: All web users on EH branded payroll including Partner Dashboard (excluding EI related brands)
- Description: From June 6, 2025, we will no longer support email as a two-factor authentication (2FA) method on the payroll web platform for direct EH branded platforms. If users are unable to verify their 2FA, they will be required to go through the Account Recovery process, which involves identity verification. To ensure continued account access, please ensure your SMS or Authentication App 2FA methods are up to date and working, and that your date of birth and name are accurately recorded.
Enforce password reset on affected users during security incidents on Payroll

- Available In: All Payroll Users
- Description: During a security incident, the Security team may now enforce password resets on affected users as a response measure using the Bulk Action Accounts tool. Affected users will be required to reset their password upon their next successful login on Payroll Web and EH Work. Users will receive the current email template for password reset, and they will not be allowed to use their current password when resetting or changing it.
Minor updates to improve payroll write access management

- Description: To improve the management of payroll write access, we have made the following enhancements: Business ID is now displayed alongside the business name for easy identification when granting access. Additionally, "Date Access Granted" and "Date Access Expires" timestamps have been added. "Date Access Expires" indicates when access to the business will be removed (72 hours from confirmation).

- Description: To improve the management of user access reviews on payroll and to determine if access is still needed, we have added Last Login information across the Admin Access Management and Privileged Access Management tools. This information is viewable in the results table of each tool and in exports.
Reduce Manual Overhead in Payroll SAP Access Management

- Description: Following on from the last release, we have added the ability to trigger offboarding actions when revoking access from the SAP Profile. Coming soon, offboarding actions will automatically trigger when the linked HR employee is offboarded on HR.

- Description: The DIY Parallel Pay Runs tool has been enhanced to support a smoother experience for businesses with up to 150 employees. We've introduced performance enhancements and UI improvements to ensure the tool remains fast, user-friendly, and efficient at scale. These include optimized LLM and API workflows, over 50% reduction in pay slip extraction runtime, and more than 50% fewer API calls required. User notifications, clearer progress messaging, and improved table navigation with filters and pagination have also been added.
EOS Intelligent Onboarding - Welcome Guide Modal v2

- Description: We’ve streamlined the onboarding experience to better support businesses with multiple pay schedules. A single, simplified Welcome Guide screen now allows you to add multiple pay schedules, each with schedule type, preferred pay run date, and pay period start and end dates. A dashboard widget allows pay date edits anytime. The Welcome Guide appears for both Owners and Admins, but only Owners will see the pay schedule fields in the modal.

Leave Balance Visibility Enhancement in Leave Request Modal

- Description: We've improved the user understanding of how their available leave is calculated and impacted by pending and current leave requests by introducing a clearer and more interactive Leave Balance section. Users can now see a detailed breakdown including Total Available Leave, Current Balance, Forecasted Accrual, Deductions, Pending Requests, Approved Requests, Current Request, and Projected Remaining Balance. Pending and approved requests are now clickable to view detailed request periods and deducted hours, reducing confusion and enabling more informed leave decisions.
Leave History Visibility in Work App

- Description: To enhance your understanding of your leave history, we are providing clear, mobile-accessible records of past leave requests and balance changes. This update enables easy navigation of leave request history through a new “Leave History” tab. It also allows filtering by year and leave category for better clarity.
[Work App] Enhance Employee Request Leave Experience

- Description: We've streamlined the employee leave request experience in the Work App to reduce the number of steps required to submit a request. The leave category field will now be automatically pre-filled with an employee's most commonly used leave category. A calendar for date selection has been introduced, allowing for single-click daily leave, duration extension with a second click, and return to single-day selection with a third click. Clicking the "Request Leave" shortcut now takes employees directly to a new leave request submission, and editing hours/days for extended duration leave requests is now a single-click edit.
