Employee File Changes – User Facing Audit Trail Clarity Updates

Target Users: All users with access to workflows and Employee File Change approvals

Summary:

The user-facing audit trail for Employee File Change (EFC) requests has been enhanced to improve readability, interpretation, and trustworthiness, especially in complex multi-step approval workflows.

Key Features:

  • Clearer Wording: "Pending" replaced with "Sent for approval to [Name]"; "Fully approved" or "Fully declined" for final status.

  • Grouped Approver Lists: Requests with 5+ approvers are now collapsible under a header like "Sent for approval to:".

  • Timezone-Inclusive Timestamps: All approval entries now show timezones (e.g., UTC +11:00) for cross-region clarity.

  • Visible Approval/Decline Reasons: Approver comments appear clearly below their decision entry.

  • Updated Iconography: Cleaner, consistent icons (circle-check for approved, circle-cancel for declined, schedule-send for sent for approval, comment-outlined for reason/comment) from Hero Design System.


 

Feature: Employee Profile Completeness – Editing Tax Declaration

Target Users: HR users across all regions (Note: UK employees will have view-only access, and for PR-only users, only Malaysian (MY) users will have view-only visibility.)

Summary:

Users can now view and edit their tax declaration details directly within the EH Work app, eliminating the need to log into the HR platform. Changes sync with the HR platform and are logged in the audit trail, triggering email notifications as applicable.

Key Features:

  • In-App Tax Declaration Editing: View and update tax declaration details directly within the EH Work app.

  • HR Platform Sync: All changes made in-app will sync with the HR platform and vice versa.

  • Audit Trail and Notifications: Updates are logged in the audit trail and trigger email notifications to the user and payroll admin (if applicable).

  • Validation and Permissions: Changes are validated using existing tax declaration checks (e.g., valid TFN) and consider existing employee permissions for editing tax details.


Move ALL Candidate data across when Onboarding (Slice 1)

Summary:

The onboarding process has been streamlined by automatically pre-filling the New Employee Profile with key data from the EH Recruitment (ATS) experience. This reduces manual data entry for Admins and boosts confidence in the hiring workflow.

Key Features:

  • Automated Data Transfer: Candidate data (first name, last name, and email) now flows directly into the Employee Profile from EH Recruitment.

  • Admin Review: Admins can review and refine the pre-filled data before confirming.

  • Document Import: Supporting documents (CVs, cover letters) are automatically added to the employee’s documents tab with an 'imported from ATS' tag.


Policies & Induction Content in Employee Profile

Release Date: 2 June 2025 (for new organisations created after 13 May 2025; public rollout to existing organisations in August 2025)

Summary:

Users can now view Policies and Induction Content directly within the employee profile. The Documents widget has been updated to include separate tabs for Policies and Induction Content, centralising all mandatory and optional documents in one place and improving accessibility and oversight.

Key Features:

  • Centralized Content: The Documents widget now includes separate tabs for Policies and Induction Content, in addition to existing HR and uploaded documents.

  • Comprehensive Display: Shows all assigned mandatory and optional policies and induction content in the employee profile.

  • Prioritised Sorting: Default sorting prioritises outstanding mandatory, then acknowledged mandatory, followed by optional policies and induction content.

  • Clear Status Tags: Displays clear status tags: Outstanding or Acknowledged.

  • Direct Interaction: Employees can click policies and induction content to view or acknowledge them directly from their profile.

  • Search, Sort, and Filter: Added search, sort, and filter options for easier management of assigned policies and induction content.

  • Configurable Visibility: Visibility of policies and induction content tabs can be controlled via Settings > Menu Customization.


Progressive Disclosure Certification [Slice 3]

Summary:

This release introduces progressive disclosure across key areas of the certification experience, streamlining the process while maintaining flexibility for diverse organisational needs.

Key Features:

  • Certification Details Page: Users can now choose between a Basic or Advanced method for managing individual certification details.

  • Configuration Section: Admins are provided with both Basic and Advanced options to tailor certification settings.

  • Navigation Update: Certifications has been moved out of the settings section and is now accessible directly from the Compliance section in the navigation menu, improving discoverability.


Talent Marketplace

Progressive sign-up and verification for the B2B sign up funnel

Summary:

The B2B sign-up funnel has been updated to implement progressive sign-up and verification, aiming to reduce drop-off and capture more qualified leads. The flow now initially asks only for email, creating an organisation with default user details, with verification occurring post-organisation creation.

Key Features:

  • Progressive Sign-up: Initial sign-up now only requires an email, creating an organisation with default user details.

  • Post-Creation Verification: Full business verification occurs after the organisation has been created.

  • Reduced Drop-off: Streamlines the initial sign-up process to improve conversion rates.


Talent - Website

New Interactive Website

Summary:

The brand design, marketing, and product teams have collaborated to build a new interactive website with improved information architecture and product discoverability. This involved creating all new website components, enhancing menu navigation, and updating existing components for a new 1300px layout.

Business info page uplift

The "View Business Info" screen has been revamped with UI/UX enhancements and layout improvements to boost user engagement and usability. The update aims to drive higher conversion rates for high-value actions like adding a business to a list or clicking "Quick Apply."

The business ranking logic on the business list now incorporates an Engagement Multiplier, dynamically adjusting rankings to reflect each business's engagement level. This change ensures that more engaged businesses surface higher, improving the connection between candidates and active employers.

  • Engagement-Based Ranking: Businesses are now ranked based on the formula: Final Score = Static Score × Engagement Multiplier + Disengagement Penalty.

  • Personalised Recommendations: Dynamic suggestions for businesses are tailored to individual job seekers.

"Share profile" button update

Universal search enhancements - Synonym search

Synonym search has been introduced to the EH Jobs app to improve the flexibility of the search algorithm. This enhancement allows the search to handle variations in user input, ensuring that relevant results are displayed even if the exact keyword is not used (e.g., "server" will show "wait staff").

Universal search enhancements - Unsupported roles messages

For app searches of unsupported roles (e.g., Construction, Support Worker, Forklift Operator), a new message has been introduced. Instead of a "no results" message, users are now redirected to the EH Jobs web platform, helping to retain otherwise lost customers.

  • Redirect for Unsupported Searches: Users searching for roles not supported in the app are redirected to the EH Jobs website.

  • Improved User Experience: Avoids "no results" messages and offers alternative access to relevant job listings.

Global Benefits - Perks - EWA

Add ‘new’ status to indicate employees that are newly assigned - Benefits Management

A 'new' status indicator has been added to Benefits Management to clearly distinguish newly assigned employees from previously assigned ones. This helps administrators correctly fill out fields for new employees and prevents confusion.

Update EH Work country picker within SAP - internal

A new feature has been added within SAP that allows internal teams to update a user's country selection for the EH Work app. This addresses instances where users accidentally select the wrong country, preventing them from viewing Money & Perks pillars, and enables the CX team to resolve such issues without product/engineering assistance.

  • Internal Country Picker Update: Internal teams can now modify a user's selected country for the EH Work app directly in SAP.

  • Reduced CX Tickets: Empowers the CX team to resolve user country selection issues, reducing the need for product/engineering involvement.

  • SAP Permission: Access to this feature requires specific SAP permission: General → Request HR SAP access → Modify → Under feature Management, tick off EH Work App Country Picker.


Ability to select a default Rostering filter in read-only mode on Payroll

Release Date: 3 June 2025

Target Users: Payroll SAP users

Summary:

To address an issue where accessing Rostering for businesses with many locations was difficult in Read Only mode, admins can now select an existing filter to use. This update allows for efficient customer service while still restricting the ability to create new filters in Read-Only mode.

Key Features:

  • Default Filter Selection in Read Only: Admins can select an existing rostering filter in Read Only mode for businesses with numerous locations.

  • Maintained Security: The ability to create new filters remains restricted in Read Only mode.


Blacklisting Temporary Email Domains

Release Date: 30 May 2025

Summary:

A new security engine has been implemented to block sign-ups from known temporary email domains during the free trial sign-up flow. This centralises the blacklisted domains engine, reduces malicious sign-ups, and prevents platform abuse.

Key Features:

  • Blocked Sign-ups: Requests from approximately 3000 known temporary email domains are now blocked during the organisation's free trial sign-up flow.

  • Reduced Malicious Activity: Curbs malicious sign-ups and platform abuse.

  • SAP Management Tool: An internal SAP tool allows approved users to manage the blocklist (add/remove domains) and view domain hit statistics.


Remove Email as a 2FA method on Payroll

Release Date: 6 June 2025 (Temporarily disabled due to security migration)

Target Users: All web users on EH branded payroll including Partner Dashboard but excluding EI related brands.

Summary:

The ability to use email for 2FA codes on the payroll platform has been removed, aligning with HR's more secure methods (SMS and authentication apps). Users who previously relied solely on email 2FA will be prompted to set up an alternative method upon logging in.

Key Features:

  • Enhanced Security: Removed email as a 2FA option, increasing security against compromised email accounts.

  • Mandatory Alternative 2FA: Users with only email 2FA will be directed to set up an Authentication App or SMS method upon login.

 


 

Payroll

Include employee with a termination date in pay run (Phase 1) & (Phase 2)

Release Date: 5 June 2025

Target Users: All regions, admin users and restricted users with permission to create pay runs.

Summary:

This feature automates employee termination payments by allowing pay runs to include employees whose profiles were terminated outside of a pay run. Both Phase 1 (core functionality) and Phase 2 (additional functionality for AU/NZ and new pay schedule option for NZ) are now generally available.

Key Features:

  • Include Terminated Employees: A new "Include terminated employees" checkbox appears when creating a pay run, depending on pay schedule settings.

  • Automated Termination Calculations: When selected, employees with a termination date within the pay run period are included with termination calculations applied.

  • Exclusion Option: When not selected, terminated employees within the pay run period are excluded.

  • Permission-Based Access: Available to admin users and restricted users with permission to create pay runs.

Award Costing Public Availability

Summary:

Award Costing is now publicly available across all KP-connected organisations. This update includes Roster Award Costing, Timesheet Award Costing, Classification Award Costing, and Shift Conditions Award Costing, providing greater visibility and accuracy in cost estimation.

Weekly React Migration

The Weekly React Migration is now live for all KP-connected organisations. This enhancement works with Award Costing, allowing users to view and select Shift Condition and Classification inputs directly within Timesheet Management, improving design consistency and cost estimation accuracy.
