Automations

Employee File Changes – User Facing Audit Trail Clarity Updates
Release Date: 6 June 2025
Description:
We improved the audit trail for Employee File Change (EFC) requests to enhance readability and trust in multi-step approvals.

  • 'Pending' status replaced with clearer messages like 'Sent for approval to [Name]' and final approval statuses ('Fully approved' or 'Fully declined').

  • Approver lists with 5+ approvers are now collapsible under headers.

  • Timestamps now display timezone info (e.g., UTC +11:00) for cross-region clarity.

  • Approval/decline reasons (comments) are visible beneath decisions.

  • Updated icons consistent with Hero Design System for approval states: approved (circle-check), declined (circle-cancel), sent for approval (schedule-send), reason/comment (comment-outlined).

What’s Next:
Approval level indicators (e.g., 'Approval Level 1') and similar user interface/user experience improvements planned for leave and expense management.

Global Benefits - Perks - EWA

Benefits Management V4 Enhancements
Release Date: 2 June 2025
Description: Added Daily, Weekly, and Fortnightly frequency options to existing Once-off, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually benefit frequencies for better alignment with pay cycles.

Business Info Page Uplift
Release Date: 2 June 2025
The ‘View Business Info’ screen is a key user touchpoint. To boost its engagement, the page has been revamped with UI/UX improvements, including:

  • Rearranged layout highlighting the most valuable information at the top

  • Contextual nudges (e.g., '20 others applied') to create urgency

  • 'Related businesses' section showing similar nearby businesses to aid discovery

Bring Policies & Induction Content into Employee Profile
Release Date: 2 June 2025 (new orgs after 13 May 2025) | Public rollout August 2025
Description: Policies and induction documents are now accessible directly in employee profiles under separate tabs in the Documents widget. Features include status tags, direct acknowledgements, search, sort, filter, and visibility controls via Menu Customisation.

Business Ranking Based on Hiring Signals/Engagement Score
Release Date: 2 June 2025
Description: Engagement Multiplier applied to business rankings to highlight more engaged businesses. Future shuffle logic planned for ranking variety.

Employee Profile Completeness – Editing Tax Declaration
Release Date: 2 June 2025
Description: EH Work users can now view and edit tax declaration details in-app, syncing with HR platform and audit trails. UK employees have view-only access; Malaysian PR-only users have limited view-only access.

'Share Profile' Button Update
Release Date: 2 June 2025
Description: Updated button label and onboarding messaging to reduce pressure perception and improve user confidence when sharing profiles.

Move ALL Candidate Data Across When Onboarding (Slice 1)

Description: Automatically pre-fills new employee profiles with key data from the Recruitment ATS to reduce manual entry. Imported candidate data includes first name, last name, email, and supporting documents with tags.

Progressive Sign-Up and Verification for B2B Talent Marketplace
Release Date: 2 June 2025
Description: Progressive sign-up flow reduces drop-off by initially asking only for email and creating org with default user details, followed by verification post-creation.

Universal Search Enhancements – Synonym Search
Release Date: 20 May 2025
Description: Enhanced EH Jobs app search to match synonyms (e.g., searching 'server' also returns 'wait staff').

Payroll (All Regions)

Include Employee with Termination Date in Pay Run (Phase 1 & Phase 2)
Release Date: 5 June 2025
Description:
This feature automates termination payments by allowing pay runs to include employees terminated outside of pay runs, reducing risk of missed final payments.

  • New 'Include terminated employees' checkbox available when creating pay runs (depends on pay schedule).

  • When checked, employees with termination dates within the pay run period are included with termination calculations.

  • Available to admin and restricted users with pay run permissions across all regions; UK availability extends to all users.

  • Both phases (initial Beta functionality and AU/NZ enhancements) are now generally available.

Streamline Compensation Management Cycles
Release Date: 6 June 2025
Objective: Support efficient, accurate compensation planning to ensure fair pay and retain talent by reducing manual effort and risk of errors.
Description:

  • Admins can select visible columns for cycle participants to focus attention on key data, including performance and potential in the Advanced view.

  • All participants can toggle between Basic and Advanced views to suit their needs.

Target Users:
Global users on NextGen Plus and Unlimited plans, and Classic Premium and Platinum plans.

Progressive Disclosure Certification
Release Date: 6 June 2025
Objective: Simplify certification workflows by balancing ease of use with advanced control.
Description:

  • Users can choose Basic or Advanced methods for managing certification details on the Certification Details Page.

  • Admins have Basic and Advanced options to configure certification settings.

  • Certifications moved from Settings to Compliance section in the navigation for improved discoverability and reduced friction.
