Data & AI - 1-Click Job Post Enhancements

Release Date: July 22, 2025

Target Users: All users using the 1-click job posting feature.

Summary: We've significantly upgraded the 1-click job post flow with the integration of the LITEBOY ranking model. This enhancement dramatically reduces shortlist latency and improves the accuracy and consistency of SmartMatch candidate scoring, providing a more reliable and faster experience for recruiters.

Key Features:

  • Improved Ranking with LITEBOY: SmartMatch shortlists are now ranked using a combination of GIRL + LITEBOY, replacing the previous reliance on GIRL alone.
  • Consistent Score Display: BOY scores, our more accurate but previously slower ranker, now appear in the UI and are fully aligned with the new ranking logic, ensuring a more trustworthy experience.
  • Reduced Latency: The integration of LITEBOY has drastically cut down the time it takes to generate candidate shortlists, making the 1-click flow feel almost instantaneous.

Why This Matters: Previously, we had to disable BOY for ranking due to its multi-minute latency, using GIRL for both retrieval and ranking. This often led to a discrepancy between the displayed BOY scores and the actual ranking, causing confusion. By incorporating LITEBOY for fast and accurate ranking while still displaying BOY scores, we've restored trust and consistency between what recruiters see and how results are ranked. This also delivers a much faster and more efficient 1-click job posting experience.

Data & AI

Key Features:

  • Improved Job Recommendations: Job match emails now incorporate both a candidate's past experience and their expressed career preferences, leading to more personalised and accurate job suggestions.

Why This Matters:

  • Historically, job recommendations relied solely on previous experience, which could overlook a candidate's true career aspirations. By integrating preferences, candidates will receive job matches that better align with their goals, boosting engagement and increasing the overall pool of available job seekers.
