When you add or update a rating directly from the 9-box talent grid, the information banner reflects your specific sharing choices instantly.

1. Log in to your Employment Hero platform.
2. Click on the Performance menu item.
3. Click on the 9-box Talent Grid.
4. Click the Add Score button.
5. Locate the visibility checkboxes: Allow scores to be visible to the employee and Allow comments to be visible to the employee.
6. Tick or untick the boxes to see the banner update:
   • No boxes ticked: The blue banner disappears entirely so you know nothing is being shared.
   • Scores only: The banner appears and specifies that only scores will be visible.
   • Comments only: The banner appears and specifies that only comments will be visible.
   • Both ticked: The banner confirms that both the rating and comments will be visible to the employee.

You can also update 9-box ratings from the side panel within an employee file. The banner behaviour remains consistent to ensure a trustworthy experience.

1. Log in to your Employment Hero platform.
2. Click on People menu item.
3. Click on Employee List.
4. Select the employee whose 9-Box Talent Grid you wish to view.
5. Scroll down to find the Performance tile.
6. Select the 9-Box Talent Grid tab.
7. On the score you wish to review, click on the 3 dots.
8. Click on Edit. 
9. Tick or untick Allow scores to be visible to the employee according to your preferences. 
10. Tick or untick Allow comments to be visible to the employee according to your preferences. 
11. Click Save once you are satisfied with the visibility settings.

The visibility banner now includes a direct link to the talent report, allowing you to review how ratings appear before finalising them.

1. Ensure at least one visibility checkbox is ticked in the Add rating form or side panel.
2. Locate the blue information banner.
3. Click the link within the banner labelled View the 9-box Talent Report.
4. Review the report details to understand the employee's perspective.
