Recommendation: Choose HeroClear as the default clearing path for each employing entity. Use Beam only where there is a documented constraint. Keep third‑party/manual for edge cases or temporary transitions.

FAQ

  • Can I use HeroClear for some entities and Beam for others?
Yes, per entity. When HeroClear is enabled on an entity, new Beam batches are disabled; existing Beam batches continue unaffected.
  • Can I still use a manual clearing house?
Yes. Export a SAFF file from Payroll. Note this adds manual steps and you remain responsible for meeting the 7‑business‑day rule.
  • Is HeroClear compliant?
Employment Hero is listed on the ATO’s SuperStream Certified Product Register. HeroClear is designed to help businesses stay compliant by automating validations, payments, and audit visibility.
