AI

  • Hero AI can now answer questions about upcoming and past 1:1s, helping users prepare for meetings, review recent discussions, and identify follow-up actions more easily. (Released: 29 April 2026 and 6 May 2026, Global plans)

Automations

  • Introduced certification triggers in workflows so admins can automate reminders and follow-up actions before and after certifications expire, reducing manual tracking and compliance risk. (Released: 5 May 2026, Global workflows users)

Core HR

  • Added audit logging for medical disclosure statements, giving HR admins a complete record of who viewed, created, edited, or deleted each disclosure to strengthen governance and accountability. (Released: 4 May 2026, HR Admins)
  • Introduced temporary manager reassignment, allowing HR admins to bulk assign a temporary manager to direct reports and automatically restore the original reporting line when the coverage period ends. (Released: 4 May 2026, All regions)
  • Publicly released Bulk Issue Documents, making it easier for HR admins and signatories to issue, review, sign, track, and manage large batches of documents in one place. (Released: 4 May 2026, HR Admins and Document Signatories)
  • Users can now reorder onboarding and offboarding checklist tasks, giving admins more control over how checklist steps are displayed. (Released: 6 May 2026, All organisations with access to Checklists)

HR Rostering & Timesheets

  • Added roster warning view in the toolbar so managers can quickly identify, focus on, and resolve roster issues before publishing. (Released: 7 May 2026, All orgs using work sites and position rostering)
  • Improved bulk selection and roster management so managers can select published and unpublished shifts together, review summaries more easily, and complete actions faster across employee and work site views. (Released: 7 May 2026, Admins and Managers)
  • Roster managers can now customise the order of work sites, positions, and employees in the roster grid, reducing scrolling and creating a more personalised scheduling experience. (Released: 7 May 2026, All orgs using work sites and position rostering)
  • Unavailability restrictions can now be applied during blackout periods, helping businesses prevent employee unavailability requests during peak trading periods while still allowing manager overrides when needed. (Released: 8 May 2026, All orgs using work sites and position rostering)

ITOps & Security

  • Added the requested date to partner account recovery requests so partners and brand users can prioritise and escalate stale cases more effectively. (Released: 5 May 2026, Partner and Brand Users)
  • Updated the Jobs site authentication flow to support a more secure password-first sign-up and sign-in experience for job seekers, including account verification and support for stronger security options. (Released: Public release 13 May 2026, Job Seekers)

Leave

  • Improved leave audit history so approval and decline events now show richer detail, including approver information, approval stage, and direct access to the related leave request. (Released: 5 May 2026, HR Admins and Employees)
  • Updated the Time Off Balances table with new group and employee filters, making it easier for admins and managers to view leave balances for specific teams or individuals. (Released: 6 May 2026, Users with access to Leave Balances)

OpenAPI & Developer Experience

  • Added new Forms webhook events to OpenAPI so external systems can respond in real time when form responses are submitted, approved, or declined. (Released: 7 May 2026)

Payroll

  • Leave accrual journal exports now automatically inherit dimension values from matching earnings lines, improving reporting consistency and reducing manual mapping in journal exports. (Released: 7 May 2026, Australian customers)
  • Leave earnings added to pay runs now automatically populate reporting dimensions from pay run defaults, reducing manual entry and improving payroll consistency. (Released: 7 May 2026, Australian customers)
  • Added break start and end times to timesheet report exports, giving payroll admins more detailed records to support labour law and compliance reporting. (Released: 6 May 2026 beta, AU only in global rollout cohort for release communications)
  • Updated salary data structure so payroll-related fields now sit separately from pay rate history, improving platform consistency ahead of future pro-ration enhancements. (Released: 11 May 2026, AU)
