Contribution Alerts
The Contribution Alerts section now appears at the top of the Super Payments page whenever there are errors with HeroClear super batches that are preventing one or more super batches from being processed.
Previously, you would need to open each batch individually to check for errors. Contribution Alerts brings all outstanding issues into one place so nothing slips through.
What you'll see
Each row in the section represents a single error affecting one employee. The row shows:
The employee's name
The batch number and submission date the error came from (clicking the batch number takes you directly to that batch)
The error code returned
The contribution amount involved
A count next to the "Contribution Alerts" heading tells you at a glance how many alerts are outstanding. If there are more than 10 rows, they are shown across multiple pages using pagination controls at the bottom of the section.
The section has two tabs:
Errors — Action required: issues that are actively blocking a super batch from being processed. These require your attention before the contribution can go through.
Warnings — Review recommended: issues that are worth reviewing but are not blocking processing.
Fix an error
- Click Show on any row to expand the "How to Fix" panel beneath it. This panel explains in plain English what caused the error and provides numbered steps to resolve it.
- Click Hide to collapse it again. You can expand multiple rows at the same time.
Each row also provides two quick-action links:
Fix employee details — takes you directly to the affected employee's settings page so you can correct the relevant information.
Create new batch — opens a pre-filled correction batch for that employee so you can submit a correction batch on their behalf.
Dismiss an alert manually
If you have already resolved an issue outside of the system and want to remove the alert, click the Dismiss button on the right-hand side of the row.
Dismissed alerts do not reappear on subsequent visits to the page. Dismissing one alert has no effect on any other alerts in the list.
