When a recruiter shortlists you through Find Talent, Employment Hero automatically sends you reminder emails so you do not miss the opportunity to respond. You can receive up to two reminders for a single invitation: a first reminder three days after the original invitation, and a final reminder on day seven if you still have not responded. After the day-seven reminder, no further reminders are sent for that invitation.

Respond to a Find Talent reminder email in Employment Hero
If you have not responded to a Find Talent invitation, Employment Hero sends you reminder emails three days and seven days after the initial invitation. Each reminder includes the recruiter's original message, prospective employer branding, job details, and direct response buttons to answer directly from your inbox.
- Open the reminder email in your inbox. The email is sent to the address associated with your Employment Hero candidate profile. Subject lines reflect the status of the invitation, such as "Final reminder: You've been shortlisted! 🎉".
- Read the recruiter's message and job details displayed within the email body.
- Select a response button inside the email: click Yes! I'm interested to express interest in the role, or Not interested to decline.
- Follow any on-screen prompts on the job details page to confirm your selection.

You can receive up to two reminder emails for a single Find Talent invitation:
- Day-three reminder: Sent three days after the original invitation if you have not responded.
- Day-seven final reminder: Sent seven days after the original invitation if you still have not responded after the day-three reminder.
Once you respond at any point, or after the day-seven final reminder is sent, no further reminders are sent for that invitation.
Both the day-three and day-seven reminder emails are designed to match the original invitation. Each reminder includes:
- The recruiter's original message, displayed below the action buttons.
- A job card featuring the role title and a link to view full job details.
- Your prospective employer's logo, header, and footer branding if the organisation has configured a logo.
- A default Employment Hero layout with a "Powered by Employment Hero" footer if no logo is configured.
- An option to unsubscribe from direct employer invitation reminders at the bottom of the email.
No. If you responded to the invitation at any point after receiving the day-three reminder, whether you expressed interest or declined, the day-seven final reminder will not be sent to you.
No. The day-seven email is the final reminder for that invitation. If you do not respond after receiving it, no further reminder emails will be sent for that particular invitation.
