Password set-up, two factor authentication (2FA) and logging in with another email for payroll-only accounts

1. Enter your email address and password and tap the Log In button.
2. If you have 2-factor authentication turned on, enter your code from your authenticator app into the Code field.
3. Tap the Verify button.
4. Enter your log-in passcode.
5. Re-enter your log-in passcode.

1. Log into the Employment Hero Work app.
2. Tap on your profile picture or initials in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap Two-Factor Authentication.
5. Tap Authentication app.
6. Copy the Key and add this to your chosen authenticator app. (You must download the authenticator app, like Google Authenticator, separately following their instructions.)
7. Once the key has been added, you will get a code that changes regularly. Type the code you see into Employment Hero Work to confirm the authenticator app is set up correctly.
8. You will now see On written next to Two-Factor Authentication.

If you do not have access to your authenticator app, you can request a verification code to be sent to your registered mobile number instead.

1. On the 2-Factor Authentication screen, tap Use alternative 2FA method beneath the prompt Don't have access to your authenticator app?
2. A code will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number. The screen will display the partially masked number the code has been sent to.
3. Enter the code into the Code field and tap Verify.
4. If you did not receive the code, tap Resend code.

1. Log into Employment Hero Work.
2. Tap on your profile picture or initials in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap the Face ID (for iOS users) or Fingerprint (for Android users) toggle switch. The toggle must be switched to the right to be turned on.
5. Enter your passcode.
6. You will receive a notification that your biometric log-in has been turned on.

1. Tap the Log in with a Different Account button.
2. Enter the email address and password and tap the Log In button.
3. If you have 2-factor authentication turned on, enter your code from the authenticator app into the Code field.
4. Tap the Verify button.
5. Enter your log-in passcode.
6. Re-enter your log-in passcode.

1. Log into Employment Hero Work.
2. Tap on your profile picture or initials in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Tap the Log Out button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select between the following options:
   • Quick logout — this will end your session and enable you to log back in quickly.
   • Full log out — clears all session data and requires log in and authentication.

2. Tap on your profile picture or initials in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap the Face ID (for iOS users) or Fingerprint (for Android users) toggle switch. The toggle must be switched to the left to be turned off.
5. Enter your passcode.
6. You will receive a notification that your biometric log-in has been turned off.

1. On the 2-Factor Authentication screen, tap Request to recover your account.
   
2. Depending on your account setup, one of the following will occur:
   • Single brand: You will be automatically directed to the account recovery flow for your brand and taken to the Check your email screen.
   • Multiple brands: You will be prompted to select the brand you want to submit your recovery request to. Tap the Select Brand field, choose the appropriate brand, and tap the Continue button to proceed.
3. A Check your email screen will confirm that a recovery email has been sent to your registered email address.
4. Check your inbox and follow the link in the email to complete the account recovery process.
