The NEW badge icon replaces the Beta button in the product header. It has a scalloped seal design with a white background and a dark icon, and it is visible on any page in Employment Hero.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. In the product header, locate the NEW badge icon. Hover over the icon to see the tooltip "What's new and early access to features".
3. Click the NEW badge icon. The What's new page opens.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Go to Settings.
3. In the Security & Access Control card, click What's new at the bottom of the list of links.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the bell icon. The notifications open in a dropdown below the bell.
3. Review your activity items. The notifications show activity items only, so there are no tabs. The activity information is the same as before. Each item now shows the Employment Hero logo, a purple circle with the initials EH, in place of a separate icon for each item type.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the bell icon.
3. Click Mark all as read. Employment Hero marks all items as read and clears the unread count on the bell icon.
4. The list then shows a bell illustration with a message that you are all caught up. This screen also appears when you have no activity items.

When you open the notifications, a notice at the top, above your activity items, reads: "The What's new section has moved. Click the What's new icon to access feature announcements and early access to features."

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the bell icon.
3. Click the × icon in the top-right corner of the notice. The notice closes.

If you close and reopen the notifications in the same session, the notice does not appear again.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the NEW badge icon in the product header.
3. Click the What's new tab.
4. Review the announcements, which appear as cards with the most recent first. Each card shows the category, headline, description, publish date and Learn more →.

If a feature has a future publish date, its card shows a Coming soon pill instead of a date.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the NEW badge icon in the product header.
3. In the left-hand menu, click a category:
   • All
   • Hero AI
   • Payroll
   • People & HR
   • Time & Attendance
   • Performance & Engagement
   • Recruitment & Onboarding
4. Review the cards shown for that category in the tab you are viewing. To see all cards again, click All.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the NEW badge icon in the product header.
3. Click the What's new tab or the Early Access to Features tab.
4. Type your search term in the search bar. The cards in the tab you are viewing update as you type and show only those with a title or description that matches your search term.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the NEW badge icon in the product header.
3. Click the tab you want to filter.
4. Click Filters.
5. Select your filter options:
   • On the What's new tab, choose Available now or Coming soon.
   • On the Early Access to Features tab, choose Enabled or Not enabled.
6. Click Apply. The filter applies to the visible cards.

Open beta features appear as cards on the Early Access to Features tab. You can enable or disable each feature for your organisation.

1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
2. Click the NEW badge icon in the product header.
3. Click the Early Access to Features tab. Each card shows an Early Access pill and its publish date.
4. On the card for the feature you want, click the toggle switch to enable the feature for your organisation.
5. To disable the feature, click the toggle switch again.

Early Access Features is now called What's new. Open beta features appear on the Early Access to Features tab.

A red dot next to a category in the left-hand menu shows that the category has a newly published item that you have not viewed yet.

A card shows a Coming soon pill instead of a date when its publish date is in the future.
