Submission adherence: These times must be met for your first live pay run and for every pay run after that, so that we can deliver your service on time.
Western Australia customers: If your business is located in Western Australia, you have a two-hour buffer on the cut-off times listed above.
Pay run preparation checklist
Before you submit your data, complete the checks below. Completing them helps prevent delays to your pay run.
- Leave approvals: Confirm that all employee leave requests have been submitted and approved in the platform.
- Timesheet audit: Review all submitted timesheets for accuracy. Make sure the correct work types are selected and that approvals are finalised.
- Leave-to-timesheet conversion: For employees on an award or paid by timesheet hours only, check that approved leave has been correctly converted into timesheet entries.
- External data review: If you use an external Time and Attendance CSV file, check the data for errors before you submit it.
- API sync integrity: If you use an API to transfer data, complete an internal validation check to confirm that the sync is accurate and complete.
- New hire onboarding: Check that all new employees are fully onboarded, with complete tax, banking, and personal information.
- Employment changes: Finalise all updates, including salary increases, cost centre reallocations, and changes to employment status (for example, casual to part-time).
- Employee tagging: If applicable, check that the correct organisational tags are assigned to employees for reporting and pay rules.
- Terminations: Make sure all terminations have been actioned. Check that the Payroll Changes Form includes the information needed for final payments, such as Employment Termination Payments (ETPs) and unused leave payouts.
