Recognition is a way for employers to reward and recognise their employees when they go above and beyond the expectations of their role. The platform links each employee recognition to one of your nominated company values. So each nomination is an opportunity to recognise your employees for their performance and showcase your company values. Employers can also reward their employees with Hero Dollars for milestones reached like work anniversaries or birthdays.
The Hero Dollar feature allows you to purchase Hero Dollars that will enable you to use the platform's recognition and reward features, with the purchase receipt emailed to you. This feature also allows you to view your organisation's Hero Dollar balance and view the transactions that users in your organisation have made on the platform.
We base the default access level on a per user basis and whether they have view, edit and delete access and excluding any changes made via our Custom Security feature.
So you have now managed your Hero Dollar purchases and you are now wondering what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front and they are:
- Company Value Settings | HR Web Platform This feature allows you to create your organisational company values either from scratch or by using one of our provided templates.
- Recognition Settings | HR Web Platform This feature allows you to turn on and off the employee recognition features and assign who will approve these requests.
