Pay run: Expense requests

Overview

This feature allows you to add additional employee expense requests into a pay run. You can also use this feature to delete previously applied employees expense lines.

Expenses requests need creating before you can assign them to an employee during the pay run. For details on how to create an expense request, refer to the following article.

Once you have created an expense request, a pay run needs creating next, before you can add or remove an employee expense line. For details on how to create a pay run, refer to the following article.

Applying an expense request

Important

Applying a pending expense request to a pay run will change the status of the expense request from pending to approved.

  1. Click the Pay Run menu.
  2. Click on a pay run that needs an expense request applied.

  3. Click on the Expenses Requests tab.
  4. Click the Apply button.

Bulk applying expense requests

Important

Applying a pending expense request to a pay run will change the status of the expense request from pending to approved.

  1. Click the Pay Run menu.
  2. Click on a pay run that needs an expense request applied in bulk.

  3. Click on the Leave Requests tab.
  4. Click the Bulk Apply button.

  5. Complete the Employee Selection tick box for the expense requests that need adding to the pay run.
  6. Click the Apply Expenses button.

Deleting an expense request
  1. Click the Pay Run menu.
  2. Click on the pay run that needs an employee expense line removed.

  3. Click on the employee's name who needs an expense line removed.

  4. Click the Delete button next to the expense that requires removal.

Viewing an expense request
  1. Click the Pay Run menu.
  2. Click on a pay run that needs an expense request viewed.

  4. Click the View button.
