Payroll attendance reporting: Live view

Overview

As an organisation, by using time and attendance software, your managers and admins can track and monitor when your employees start and stop work each day. This type of system enables an employer to monitor everything from their employees working hours, any late arrivals or premature departures, time employees have taken on breaks and days they are absent. This is important in a large workforce, or a business utilising shift workers, as keeping track of a large workforce can be very time-consuming.

The Live View Reporting feature allows you to create a report that you can use to analyse the clock in and out submissions within your organisation and see details such as the location, employee picture, and the clock in status. You can also use this feature to clock out an employee if they forgot to undertake this action themselves and also discard a shift if they added it in error.

Getting Started

Running a live view report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Live View button.

  3. Click the Location drop-down and select the required location.

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see your Live View Report report on your screen.

Clocking out an employee
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Live View button.

  4. Click the on the employee that needs clocking out.
  5. Click the Clock Out Employee button.

Maintain

Discarding a clock in shift
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Live View button.

  4. Click the on the employee that needs clocking out.
  5. Click the Discard Shift button.
