Overview
As an organisation, you may need to upload documents for your employees, so they can read up on official documentation, policy changes or important information. There can be other forms of documents uploaded, such as announcements or memos. The Documents feature allows you to upload any type of file, such as PDFs, images or videos. You can also use this feature to send documents to individual employees or a particular area of your business.
Important
Documents added via the payroll platform can only be acknowledged through the payroll employee portal or WorkZone. If you are using both, you should send documents through the HR platform.

Author recommended
So you have now added documents and you are now wondering, what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front and they are:
- Payroll platform: Employee Notes: This feature allows you to add notes to an employee's file. This can include interactions with the employee, or any requests made.
- Payroll platform: Timesheet Documents: This feature allows you to upload documents to an employee's timesheets to provide context or any required additional information.
