Admins can provide permissions to employees and managers who do not have default access to certain features. You can do this by creating a custom security group, as detailed in Grant feature access to employees through Permission settings KBA.
Below, you can see the features you can grant access to employees, managers, and other non-admin users.
Important Information
Upload a document to an employee's file: This functionality can now be granted via Permissions.
Employee-uploaded documents: Admins/Owners can now edit permissions for documents uploaded by employees to their own profiles.
