⚠️ Important Notes for LinkedIn Premium
- If you're already connected to LinkedIn but the integration isn't working correctly (jobs not posting), disconnect the integration first, then reconnect using the steps above before reposting.
- Do not edit the job directly on LinkedIn. Making changes directly on the LinkedIn website will break the connection and candidate applications will no longer flow back to Employment Hero.

Troubleshooting: Why Can't I Post My Job Ads on LinkedIn?
If you're having trouble posting jobs, work through this checklist:
Check 1: Verify Your Company ID Matches LinkedIn
Your Company ID in Employment Hero must match your actual LinkedIn account. An admin on your LinkedIn company account can find this by logging in—the Company ID will be visible in your account. Verify that the ID entered in Employment Hero (under Recruitment → Job Boards → LinkedIn) matches exactly.
Check 2: Follow the Updated Connection Process
Make sure you followed the most current connection steps above, including:
- Clicking Get Contract ID instead of entering it manually (for Premium)
- Waiting 10 minutes after connection before posting jobs (for Premium)
- Using a company email address as your Poster Email (for Limited)
Check 3: Verify Your LinkedIn Subscription
For Premium: Confirm you have a valid, paid LinkedIn Premium account with credits loaded and job slots available.
For Limited: Confirm you have a paid Employment Hero subscription and your account is at least 30 days old. Also verify your login email is a company email address.
Check 4: Job Functions Limit
When posting a role, ensure you have selected no more than three job functions. Selecting more than three options will cause the posting to fail.
If you've made any of these corrections, you can repost the role right away. However, note that if you've updated your LinkedIn subscription or billing, these changes may take 24 hours to take effect.
