Important
Admins, Primary Managers, and Indirect Managers can view and edit employee scores. Secondary managers cannot view or edit the 9-Box Talent Grid. HR admins can also control who sees the 9-Box Talent Grid in the navigation via Menu Customisation settings.
- Log in to Employment Hero.
- Click the Performance menu option.
- Click on the 9-Box Talent Grid option.
-
The page is split into two tabs: Talent Grid and Performance History. Filter or search for a team or individual using the Team and Personnel filters above the tabs.
Helpful Hint
The Team and Personnel filters sit above both tabs and stay in sync as you switch between them, ensuring your data layouts always show matching results.
Helpful Hint
On the Talent Grid tab, hover over a set of initials on the grid to see who it belongs to. If no employees have been rated yet, if active filters return no results, or if the 9-Box hasn't been configured for your organisation, the grid area will display helpful guidance text.

- The 9-box talent grid will instantly update with the latest scores.
Helpful Hint
Ratings can also be added or edited by clicking directly on an employee row within the page, or directly from an employee's file. In each case, the score side panel will open pre-filled with that employee's details.
