AI Insights brings intelligent, plain-language analysis directly into your Employment Hero reports, helping you quickly understand workforce trends and surface key findings — without needing to manually interpret large data sets. Instead of scanning through rows of data, you get an automatically generated summary of what matters most, so you can focus your attention and make more informed decisions faster.
Beta feature — please validate all insights
AI Insights is currently in beta testing. While it is designed to assist your analysis, there is a risk that some insights may be inaccurate. Always validate AI-generated insights against the underlying report data before acting on them. AI Insights should not be relied on as a sole source of truth.

View AI Insights in a report
When you open a supported report, AI Insights automatically analyzes the data and displays a plain-language summary of key findings directly on the report page — no extra configuration required.
- Log in to Employment Hero.
- On the left-hand side navigation menu, click on Reports.
- Select the report you want to view from the available list. AI Insights is available for the following reports:
- People: Headcount, Termination, Probation, Turnover, Tenure, Workforce Planning – Headcount, Workforce Planning – Cost
- Time & Leave: Timesheet, Leave Taken, Leave Balance, Accrued Leave, Return to Work, Lateness, Burnout Management, Sickness Detailed, Bradford Factor, Roster Contracted Hours, SEA Accrued Leave, SEA Leave Entitlements, SEA Leave History
- Payroll: Payroll Timesheet, Payroll Leave Taken, Payroll Termination, Payroll Salary Change, Payroll Headcount, Payroll Expense
- Compensation: CMS Budget, CMS Cycle
- Performance & Goals: Reviews, Detailed Goals
- Compliance: Certifications, Work Eligibility, HR Documents, Policy, Induction Content, Tax
- Other: Two-Factor Authentication, Custom Reports
- Once the report loads, locate the AI Insights panel on the report page.
- Review the AI-generated summary. The panel highlights notable patterns, anomalies, and summary statistics drawn from the report data.

AI Insights are generated automatically based on the data in the report — no additional setup or configuration is needed to see them.

Yes. If your organization is linked to an eligible HR plan, you will be able to access AI Insights in your reports even if you primarily use Employment Hero Payroll.
If you do not see the AI Insights panel on a particular report, that report may not yet be supported. Refer to the list of supported reports in the steps above, and check back as more reports may be added over time.
