AI
- When an employee’s work schedule is updated, future-dated pending and approved leave requests are now automatically corrected to reflect the new schedule, reducing manual admin work and keeping payroll records aligned. (Released: 19 March 2026, UK only)
- Hero AI is now available on mobile for employees, with secure read access to records like leave balances, pay, rosters, and company policies, plus a more natural streaming experience. (Released: 16 March 2026)
Automations
- Added a Tenure column to the Termination Report so HR teams can review length of service directly in the report and export it for easier attrition analysis. (Released: 19 March 2026)
- The Is-Manager field in custom workforce and headcount reports now reflects current active reporting lines more accurately, reducing manual report checks. (Released: 17 March 2026)
- HR admins can now build custom reports using salary data alongside other employee fields, making pay analysis and auditing easier. (Released: 17 March 2026)
Core HR
- Admins can now create and apply additional information fields to contractors as well as employees, and fields marked for onboarding will also appear in the contractor onboarding form. (Released: 19 March 2026)
- Added more employee details to the document template variable picker, including personal email, mobile number, middle name, and emergency contact details, reducing manual work when building document templates. (Released: 17 March 2026)
- Tasks can now be assigned to multiple owners, allowing any assigned owner to complete the task and helping HR teams avoid bottlenecks when one person is unavailable. (Released: 17 March 2026)
- Employers can now edit templates and change the number of sending signatories in the new document editor, making HR document approval workflows more flexible. (Released: 17 March 2026)
HR Rostering & Timesheets
- You can now connect Square POS to automatically bring sales data into your roster every 15 minutes, improving visibility and reducing manual uploads. (Released: 19 March 2026)
- You can now forecast sales for rostering using AI Forecast, Last 3 Weeks Average, Compare to Last Year, or Same Day Last Year to better align staffing with demand. (Released: 19 March 2026)
ITOps & Security
- The Security Dashboard’s User Security Overview now includes pagination, search, and filters to help payroll users review large user bases faster. (Released: 17 March 2026)
- Organisations can now control whether employees can remember devices for 2FA and choose the memory period, improving security configuration flexibility. (Released: 17 March 2026)
Performance Management
- HR admins can now assign a custom permission for Learning Administrator, giving selected users access to learning management without broader admin permissions. (Released: 18 March 2026)
- Admins can now export Requisitions and Onboarding Approvals data from Vacancies & Requisitions for a complete and verifiable activity record. (Released: 17 March 2026)
- The Performance Review module now includes guided onboarding and ready-to-use system templates for probation, annual reviews, and regular check-ins. (Released: 18 March 2026)
Platform Experience
- EH Work Payroll users now have key actions like outstanding payroll documents and organisation switching surfaced on Home, with improved navigation across the app. (Released: 26 February 2026, phased rollout)
- EH Work HR users now have key features consolidated into the Home Dashboard, including surveys, leave balances, Hero AI, and improved navigation and security checks. (Released: 16 February 2026, phased rollout)
- The Personal Email Settings page has been refreshed with a more modern interface that makes it easier for employees to manage account emails and notification preferences. (Released: 17 March 2026)

- Recruiters can now send themselves a Preview Interview to experience the candidate journey, test questions, and refine Recruitment Agent setup before going live. (Released: 19 March 2026)
