How do I give a teammate recognition?

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR classic plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following User Access level: Employee, Manager, Admin   

The Recognition feature on the company feed allows you to post a public message to the whole organisation. You can also use this feature to comment on a recognition made by yourself or another employee. Plus, if you made the comment, you can also delete the content when required. Before being able to use the recognition feature, you will need to have:

Please note that your posts, shoutouts, and company feed announcements do not auto-save during the creation process. So you will need to retype your post or announcement if you quit this page without posting your message.

Getting started

Recognise a peer
  1. Click the  Home menu.
  2. Click the Shout Out and Recognise your Peers! button.
  3. Click the Recognise a Teammate button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Who Would You Like to Recognise?
    • Choose Company value
    • Reason

    Helpful Hint

    Not sure what to write? If you are on our Employment Unlimited or Platinum HR classic plan you can type a few points in, then click   to have our AI help you generate a draft message. You will be able to refine the draft as you need before submitting. 

  5. Click the Send button.
  6. Click the Got It button.

Daily Activities

Add a reaction
  1. Click the  Home menu.
  2. Click the Emoji button.
  3. Click the desired emoji to add a reaction.

Add a comment

Important

You can only add a comment if you are on our Employment Plus, Unlimited or HR Classic Premium or Platinum pricing tier.

  1. Click the  Home menu.
  2. Click the Add Comment button.

  3. Enter the required comment and click the Send button.

    Helpful Hint

    Typing @ into the comment field, followed by an employee's name, will tag that employee in the comment. Comments do not have a limit on the number of employee tags, so there is no limit to how many employees it can include.

Deleting data

Delete a comment

Important

Any user can delete their own comment, while an admin can delete anyone's comment. Deleting a comment is only available to users on our Employment Plus, Unlimited, or HR Classic Premium and Platinum pricing plans.

  1. Click the  Home menu.
  2. Click the Comment button.
  3. Click the Three Dots (...) button.
  4. Click the Delete button.

Delete a recognition

Important

Only admins can delete a recognition post.

  1. Click the Home menu.
  2. Click the Three Dots (...) button.
  3. Click the Delete Post button.
