Question

How do I quickly add a contractor?

Answer

The Quick Add feature allows you to quickly add a new contractor to your Employment Hero platform.

Important

HR Platform Integration: Contractors created in Payroll do not yet synchronise with the HR platform, and contractors created in the HR platform do not synchronise with Payroll. This means that if you use both platforms, contractors must be managed separately on each platform. HR platform integration will be addressed in a future release.

Add a contractor
  1. Click the   People menu.
  2. Click the People List submenu.
  3. Click the + Add Worker button, then select Onboard.
  4. In the Add a worker modal, select the Contractor tile.

    Helpful Hint

    Not sure whether the person you are adding should be a contractor, employee, or volunteer? Select Not sure which type applies? to answer a few quick questions and receive a recommendation.

  5. Select Quick Add.
  6. Complete the following fields:
    • Trading name.
    • First name.
    • Last name.
    • Date of birth.
    • Email.
  7. Click the Create button.
