Important
If you are an HR+PY connected client, from October 2023, you will be notified about our new integrated feature where HR will be your source of truth for all Leave settings. If you have been migrated to the new platform, then visit this article.
You can use the Bulk Adjust Leave Balances feature to update your leave balance totals at once as opposed to individually within a pay run.
Manage data
- Log in to your Payroll classic platform.
- Click the Pay Run menu.
- Click on the pay run that needs leave updated in bulk.
- Click the Pay Run Actions button.
- Click the Bulk Adjust Leave Balances button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Select employees:
- All employees in the pay run.
- Search by:
- Employee list.
- Emloying entity.
- Employee groups.
- Employment type.
- Leave allowance type.
- Adjust leave balance for the chosen leave category.
- Select employees:
- Click the Save button.
- Complete the following fields:
- New leave balance.
- Notes.
- Click the Apply to Pay Run button.
Helpful Hint
You can add a second leave category or add new employees to the first one by clicking the Additional Leave Adjustments button. If you entered your data incorrectly, you can click the Clear All Values button to just delete the leave balance changes, or you can click the Delete button to remove the leave category entirely.
