To download an encrypted version of the payment file for an admin to upload to the HSBC portal, follow the below instructions.
Download an encrypted HSBCnet file
- Log in to your payroll platform.
- In the Business option on the left-hand side menu, click on Payroll Settings.
- Click on Payment Files.
- Select an existing Payment File or click Add New to create a new one.
- Configure the following settings:
- File Format: Set to HSBCnet format.
- Encrypt & Sign: Switch to On.
- Encryption Key: Click Upload and select the provided HSBC public key.
- Signing Key: Leave it blank, as the system will automatically use the default key provided earlier.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- Continue with your pay run, download the encrypted payment file, and upload it to the HSBCnet portal.
Upload the HSBCnet file to a pay run
- Follow the pay run instructions here.
- Download the encrypted payment file.
- Upload it to the HSBCnet portal.
