What happened to Events in Go1 Learn?
Answer
As part of this transition to Go1 Learn, we have retired the event scheduling tool in Go1. You’ll still be able to record external learning events attended by learners, but event scheduling and sign up will no longer be supported.
This is because we’re focused on being the best asynchronous learning platform. This shift lets us invest more in features that make tracking and delivering high-impact learning even easier. If you’d like to explore alternatives for managing events, we’ve prepared a list of available alternatives and our team is always here to help.
However, there are a few exceptions to this:
- If an event is embedded within a course, learners can book a date/time via the Player.
- However, you cannot search for or access an event page directly as they currently can in MyGo1 — you must start/enrol in the course first.
- For group attendance (e.g., 30 employees completing First Aid externally), admins can create a custom “First Aid – In Person” content item and import enrolments into that course.
External items in Awards
- In Go1 Learn, learners will not be able to upload external content into awards.

Admins will still be able to upload external items on behalf of learners via:
- Award overview → Reports → Actions → View details (learner) → + Add.
